Cut Pollard

Pollard is an excellent RB.
Returning kickoffs is going extinct. Big waste of time. The reward is not worth the risk. Just start at the 25.

Yes, staying in the end zone for the touchback is the right way to go with it. He's a decent RB, but he doesn't need to be returning kicks imo.

Tony Pollard needs to be either cut or on the hot seat. Last week, his poor decisions on KR put us in massive field position holes. Luckily for him, we ended up winning last week. This week, he had some poor decisions, and then that fumble that set up the safety. It's bad enough that our D is atrocious, but it's worse knowing that we are probably going to have to to travel about 90 yards to score a TD. Not to mention that I don't think he did anything but return kickoffs today. I'd say put Cedrick Wilson and/or Lamb back there on KR, and cut Pollard.

In his place, sign Lamar Miller (https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MillLa01.htm). He's a FA, and would be a nice complementary bruising RB to help Zeke when he's tired. Or, sign Isaiah Crowell for the same purpose (https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/CrowIs00.htm).
Good lord man after 1 muff lol glad you are not the coach or GM

rather trade Wilson while he's healthy and hot. SELL HIGH as they say. We have a wealth of riches at WR. Only 1 football. We could get a 2nd rounder for him or a db straight up. A team like Carolina could use him badly. or SF. They are hurting. Pollard has too much upside and versatility to cut him.He hasnt been good lately and thats not like him.

or I would be calling up Denver and seeing if their is interest in Wilson. We need players and picks for the defense.

This issue with Pollard is he looks scared on kick off returns and has zero role in the actual offense.
Given injuries we need guys to do more to bring them to a game.

Zeke was as bad yesterday as he has ever been but they couldn't even spell him? Why? Pollard is THAT bad.
Go get a vet RB and let Pollard be inactive a couple weeks.

Wilson has more value here where he knows the offense than anywhere else.

IF DAL was gonna shop a guy it'd be Cooper or Gallup who have REAL value.
Gallup is going to get paid a fortune very soon and Amari already does.
Gallup could probably bring you a starter and a high draft pick.
Wilson at best brings you someone else's depth that can start here because of injury.

In reality, they'll probably just roll with the 4 guys they really like and call it a WR corps.

You need 4 guys if you play 3 all game.

Right school, right position, wrong year. The Cowboys should have waited a year and drafted Antonio Gibson. That’s what they thought Pollard would become. He’s just not that dude.

Ok, maybe it's an overreaction, but Pollard is terrible at KR.
It is an overreaction. Pollard is on the team primarily because he is a good complimentary RB to Zeke, and that hasn't changed. On kick returns he clearly needs some instruction, but you don't throw out a good player because of something coaching can help.

I could go for trading Wilson, and fair enough on Pollard I suppose.

Very well then. He definitely needs instructions on KR.

Man you guys are rough. This offseason you guys said he was better or as good as Zeke.....now you want him cut. Yikes.

I wouldn't cut him, but he's exclusively a RB. Shame on the FO for sitting on their azz and not finding a veteran RB to compete with Pollard.
