I doubt it, and no longer care. We'll beat their no-depth-having ***** either way next year. The only difference will be the margin of victory. :D

On a side note.....does anyone find it odd, that the NFL's official website still doesn't have the 11:30 update, but ESPN does? You'd think they'd lead the way on announcements from their own sport.

Should the thread not just be titled, "Snyder and Skins get another extension"?

That's called a "stay of execution"

The Commanders started the week at a $115M cap number, about $20M over. They restructured some contracts and dropped some incentives and that got them about $5M in savings.

According to what I read in the Washington Times this week, if a deal doesn't get done look for Danny to cut some 8 to 10 players to drop the $15 million. Even then it will only be temporary breathing room as more cuts will be needed to sign any draft picks.

Unable to reach agreement on a restructured contract with Isaac Bruce, the Rams cut the wide receiver Sunday night.

Some team is going to pick up a quality veteran receiver. He has had problems with injuries but Bruce can still play in this league.

I'm not saying he's a bad receiver. It's not surprising to me that the Rams cut him.
