Really great forum. The combination of the rules and moderaters really keeps the riff-raff at bay.

It's nice to have a sports-related forum that's not overrun by trolls and shenanigans.

Throughout the season, I'll visit opposing team's boards from time to time and I always come away thinking "boy that site kinda sucks" (and not just because it's an opposing team's site).

For me, the worst time was when I was on a Navy ship in the Persian Gulf during the first Gulf War and my "Weekly" never came at all. I would wait like a vulture for our once or twice per week "mail call" hoping beyond hope that my weekly would show up. It never did. Once I got back to civilization, I contacted them and asked why I didn't get my Weekly and they said they simply screwed up (this was a 10 month deployment at sea). In the end, they gave me one free year, but that came nowhere near making up for absolutely no news for almost a year. Nowadays, I'm pretty sure sailors on ships have access to internet and satellite TV, etc. I'm happy for them!

Yeah, that really sucked. I can almost imagine it though.
I remember waiting and waiting for my first issue, and it just so happened to be when JJ bought the team. It was late to my expectations. And the subsequent issues were too. It was odd, as they looked to have been opened like it was read. Sometimes they were on time and did not looked opened. Even when it started weekly during TC and the season. So I complained to DCW and then the post office, telling them what DCW told me when they are printed, mailed, and expected delivery.

Come to find out one of the mail carriers was a Cowboys fan and was reading them. LOL....they reassigned her to another route I think. Or limited her on my route, as I would see her once in a while, but they were always on time and unread after that.
