They got 17 points? They must have scored two safetys after the game was over.

Puhlease. Smith is one of the best WRs in football. It happens. YET THEY ONLY SCORED 13 POINTS. Sheesh, some people expect blowouts every week.

Saying this D is pathetic is a bit of a reach.

Come on man, we made plays when we needed to. We're not going to shut out every team. Our pass rush came alive in the 2nd half and aside from one running play, shut down their run game.

Although I'd like to see the big plays on 3rd/4th down stop, you can't be to disappointed in what just transpired. Granted we were playing the Panthers, who aren't exactly the Packers or Patriots, but we played a decent game on defense. Hardly reason to label them "pathetic"

When the smoke clears, our "not great" defense is in the top ten in the league...
