D Law

Do you pay him? I dont see why we would. Last part of the year he was no where, and last night he did not even come close to making a play. Save the money!!!

He had 8 good games in 2017. After that he disapeared. Like he did the first 3 years of his career.

Do you pay a guy big time money on a longterm contract ? A guy that reportedly has a bad back and a torn(!) Labrum ?

With enough blue lable maybe. But i suggest not to do so.

Isn't the whole injury thing the reason this franchise decided to move on from DeMarco Murray ?

Lawrence has some very good pass rush skills ; but his injury history and late season disappearing act has me believing he isn't worth that top number cap hit..................................

No one on the Defensive front 7 were impressive yesterday.

I think that the Rams had a lot to do with that and how they ran their offense yesterday.
That looked like the Colts game where the Rams offensive line opened holes more than half the time.
I think that's the film they looked at the most. And the Cowboys looked as lost as they were against the Colts.

He's a good player, but he is not a top DE in the league. Once again the Cowboys are stuck because they have no better options given their draft position, unless they see a gem they can grab in he 2nd round.

What stings the most about DLaw is he is the only guy from both teams to open his mouth about what he is going to do to the field and then he doesn't show up.

He was injured and played through it this year. He still was a top 10 DE while playing through the injury. I would give him top 15 money not top 5.

I wouldn't do it.

Frank Clark is going to be a FA and is younger with more sacks (35) in less games. Also has 1 sack in each of his last 3 postseason games...he shows up in the playoffs.

If you're going to shell out a BIG contract for a DE I'd rather give it to Clark. Not to mention, Richards who could be our next DC already knows Clark from Seattle.

To hell with loyalty man (yes I know its in my sig), but has that brought a SB to Dallas in the past 23 years?

Just my .02

Yes.. Simple enough

You have to understand why, and that dosen't happen only looking at a stat sheet.

He disappeared second half of season again, its disappointing...you have to resign him though

We can’t regress on the dline. I’d franchise him again but mandate that he does something about the shoulder.

Unless you have a replacement ready you have to re-sign him

Tag him at the worst for 20m

I doubt he'll play under the tag next year.

He'll use the Le'Veon Bell loophole and become a 28 year old free agent in 2020.

He needs to get shoulder surgery right now.....two weeks the latest... he gets a chance to relax and party a little

He will not give up 20m..... I guarantee

He wouldn't be giving up $20M. He'll get far more than that in free agency.

The only way he wouldn't is with an injury - and the only way he'd get injured is if he steps on the field for the Cowboys in 2019.
