Ware had 3 tackles, 1 more assist, an interception for a td(incredible play) and a forced fumble.

Not one word on this board about him.
Not one article about him.

Not one espn mention of him.

However this board, radio shows and espn wont stop with owens dribble.

Espn bends over backwards for dawkins, who I think is a great player but never mention ware.

Ware is our best player. Ware is a game changer.

But all that is brought up is owens nonsense.

Come on, Good news doesn't sell newspapers. As much people tune in to watch cowboy games to to route against them, as to route for them, if not more.

I hope he gets a complete and utter snubbing from the mass media.

And I hope that the T.O. SpitFest continues.

I would really prefer that be the thing any Eagle turns on the television and sees. Not our best defender having a big game.

I am sure they are preparing for him, but flying under the radar always has its advantages.

I know how well he played. I don't need a garbage outlet like ESPN to tell me that.

THERES NO DOUBT DEMARCUS WARE IS AN EXCELLENT PLAYER. ID DRAFT HIM 100 TIMES BEFORE LOOKIN TO SHAWNE MERRIMAN. IF PARCELLS WANTED TO UNLEASH HIM ON THE QUARTERBACK, THERE'S NOT A SINGLE DOUBT IN MY MIND HE'D BE SACK HAPPY, BUT PARCELLS HAS SAID IT PUBLICLY. HE WANTS A LINEBACKER AND ISNT COMPLETELY INTERESTED IN SACKS. OH aND LETS NOT FORGET THE 2 TD RETURNS. THE SECOND WON AGAINST ATLANTA WAS BIG, ANYONE CAN SACK THE QUARTERBACK, WE GOT A BUNCH OF PLAYERS WITH SACKS, BUT NOT MANY CAN PULL OFF THAT PLAY. NOT TO MENTION ONE OF THE FASTESTS GUYS IN THE LEAGUE WAS OUT THERE TO CATCH HIM, BUT DIDNT.

Maybe he should have stepped on Vick after stiff arming him.

Peter King in MMQB mentioned Ware.

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/writers/peter_king/12/17/week15/2.html

Defensive Players of the Week

Brian Dawkins, S, Philadelphia...

Mike Wright, DT; Ellis Hobbs, CB, New England...

DeMarcus Ware, LB, Dallas. Is the man's nickname "Velcro?'' Early in the second quarter of the Cowboys' victory over Atlanta, Mike Vick was getting pressured and threw a bullet to his left. Up jumped Ware, the second-year outside linebacker from Troy, and the ball flew right into his arms. "I tried to bat the ball down,'' he said, "but I closed my arms and squeezed my hands on it, and there she was. I believe my gloves helped me grip it, because I really can't catch.'' On the next series, Ware pressured Vick into a 12-yard sack by Jason Hatcher. For the game, he had five tackles, a half-sack, a forced fumble and a deflected pass.

There was a play a few years ago where Julius Peppers snatched a Qb fumble out of the air and ran it back for a TD. I was just amzed at his athleticism that day and had really not seen anything like it by a player of that size until Ware's ineterception the other night.

What an incredible play!

His forced fumbled would have been huge also if Akin had not scooped it up and proceeded to carry it like a loaf of bread.

A man among boys Saturday night!!

He may not be getting any love because the defense made Vick look like Brees.

BTW, how many sacks does Ware have now?

Ware has 7.5 sacks.
Anyone know of a video for the forced fumble?

Leon Lett's interception in the '95 NFCC game was comparable, better even in terms of athleticism - of course, he didn't run it back for a TD.

DWare's interception was the #1 play on the ESPN Sportscenter top 10 for Saturday night so... that's some recognition.

I agree and the other guy who should get some credit on that play was Canty who kept the containment on that play and was in Vick face forcing the bad pass. For the most part the Dallas defense did do a good job of containing Vick and not letting him get to the outside.

Yeah, it is really too bad that Henry and Glenn got toasted man to man on a couple of plays, because I don't think it would have been close if not for those two plays.

I agree. The 2 deep balls and the Romo tipped pass that was int was the extent of the Alt offense but it was enough to make this too close for comfort.

Now if he can just get around Warick Dunn we might have something! .. ok so I'm kinda joking, but he does need to get to the QB when these backs and TE's are on him.. he's has the talent to do it
