Apparently, some people want an idiotic dance every every big play. You know, something that shows "intensity."

He'd have 8.5 if the refs hadn't blown the call and flagged him for being offsides last week. He moved a millisecond before the ball, but he didn't cross the line of scrimmage until after the snap. He was guilty of perfect timing.

He was clearly offsides. The first thing I looked for was the yellow flag icon on NBC's scrollbar. A second later, it appeared.

You're the man. It was pretty close. I expect a ref to throw a flag every time in that situation though.

since we are talking about ware, and he did have a huge game, but in the second half there were several plays where he looked like he could blow past the rb to go after vick and instead ran right at the rb and lo9cked up with him. the first time i saw it i was like, why did he do that, then after he did it a couple more times and never tried to get around the rb i figured maybe it was his responsibility to keep the back from going out into a flat for a pass. Anyone else comment on this.

I think it's two things, 1)slowing down the rb 2) staying in your lane in case vick decides to run.

think about it if he rushes upfield to go around the rb that will open a HUGE lane for vick to run through, likewise if he takes an inside move, vick has the speed to get around the edge. that's why you push the rb straight back into the qb and play him the same way a d-tackle plays the run.
