The most important part of Prescott's deal, besides the guaranteed money, was the fact that he gets another bite at the apple so soon. And you can best believe, he will seek a short extension so he can get another bite, and the Jones boys will have no choice but to acquiesce.

Agree. Also brainless on behalf of the Cowboys. They should have treated him the way the Browns treated Baker Mayfield. Not enough justification to pay him a huge contract. Not enough of a game changer. Overrated. He's solid but he doesn't make the difficult key throws on a regular basis especially early in games to set the tone.
