Dak is great when the receivers are wide open like Gallop was. We need 3-4 receivers that can do that consistently, and the running game is Dak's best friend it will take a lot of pressure off of him. That was a very nice pass but it was not a long pass.
Dak likes to protect the ball so he throws to open WR. He hasn’t learned or won’t learn to throw a WR open. And still hasn’t caught on or trusts him arm enough to know that open in the NFL means one step on a defender. Only been 2 years. Let’s see if he grows. Or if he hit his ceiling. I hope not. A running game only goes so far. He will have a good Defense this year.

I agree with all of this.Check my original post in this thread. It's the OPs attitude of rubbing it in the faces of others that was uncalled for. I've never said one bad thing about Dak and have stated that I hope he's the long term solution.

The OP wanted to talk smack to everyone who has concerns about Dak and it backfired. All this over a Preseason TD pass!

Someone needed to be put in his place. He wont stop calling people "haters" and just keeps putting words into their mouths to push his agenda.

That's why it's 20 pages now.

The Rookie needs to cool his jets or It's going to keep coming at him.
Are you ****in serious? Backfired? Put in my place??? You clown. Be serious. This is a damn football forum. Not an annual evaluation at a Fortune 500 company. *** are you talking about? I cannot be put in my place because I don’t have a place to be put in. I will say *** I want when I want. And all you or anyone else can do is disagree or agree. Nothing else. It’s nothing to me. Some of you need to get a life and get out of the cellar with you computers. There’s a whole world out there filled with more important things.
Hell yea. I made a post about our quarterback doing what many people said he couldn’t. And it did just what I wanted it to do. It pissed off all of you Dak haters, so called analysts, and those with false concerns. You all are showing your true colors. That’s what I prefer.Reality. Whether I agree or not. My plan worked precisely because this issue is way beyond football. You guys are proof of that.

The defense will be better than last season and i'm old school pound the rock like we did in the 90's it will set up the passing game big time. Get those linebackers playing up tight and close to the line and it opens up all kinds of space for passes

Me too. And we will have a run game. Play action and let it rip down field. Which is where I wonder. He has to go deep here and there or it’s can end up like the broncos game when a team had the personel to do it. They are going to try us early with the same stacking the box and putting a double on Beez.

That’s the point Dre. We have people who, because of their agenda, can’t even simply give credit to Dak and Gallup for making a good play. But rather want to claim it was merely the result of a bad play by the CB.

It’s absolutelu ludicrous. And stutter step or no stutter step, Gallup got past his man, used his hands to get some seperation and shielded the defender away with his body at the top of the route.

People claiming it was purely a bad play by the CB is just straight up BS.

It’s also BS with people claiming the ball was thrown with “too low of a trajectory” or “not out far enough”
Nonsense.

But also let's be fair. The OP was also trying to throw shade at another player no longer here in his post, making it more than it was and it wasn't warranted. Why can't folks just like the play and move on. Don't try and bait. He knew it would get a reaction.

There was no shade thrown at any other player here or gone. It was a post about Dak doing what I’ve read and heard people say he couldn’t do and a receiver separating from the defender.. Simple as that. If o wanted to shade Romo, Dez, or whoever else you thought it was about I would’ve just said it. Unlike many here I don’t hide agendas. I just lay it out there whether you like it or not.

I hope this agenda you speak of, isn't the same make believe one used every time by people, when someone has something negative to say about players.

Bs, your exact words "Isn’t it amazing how Dak can toss 30 yard passes with touch and accuracy when he has a receiver who can separate downfield" considering that's been the gripe about x player, and then you post that Bs, which wasn't the case. C'mon dude you're not fooling anyone.

What do you mean “make believe” ? People all have different reasons for liking or disliking something. Personal agendas. Whatever they may be based upon.

...Dak doesn't need to throw a WR open at this point in his career IMMHO.
The WR needs to do his freakin' job and get open...get separated,
Get open!...the ball will find you!

Dude. I don’t care to fool anyone and I don’t mince words. I said EXACTLY what I intended to say. Which was in no way directed to anyone on the team past or present. What are you talking about? Please elaborate.

The one you insinuated people had in a thread awhile back... Racism... hidden now as "agenda" in posts. If it isn't that... then good to go. If it does mean that, then it is getting old.

Wah! Wah! Wah! I'm a crybaby because somebody made a postive mention about Dak. Find your safe place snowflake and go hide there. Adult conversations aren't for you.

I know!!! Why is it such a bad thing to post positivity about our starting quarterback? I don’t understand the reasons folks get so upset about it.

Like I said. There’s many reasons some fans don’t like Dak. Racism is one of those reasons. Tony Romo’s retirement is another. There’s more than those two though. I’m sure about that.

I wanted Romo back... until I really thought about it, and didn't want to see him dead.

As far as Dak goes... love the person he seems to be. Not sold on the player. This year will decide that for me though.

Which is fair and respectable. But to berate Dak and label him a loser based on situations that would hinder most every 2nd year quarterback is ludicrous. My post was simply about Dak doing something his haters said he couldn’t. Now they’ve moved the goalposts to “he can’t hit intermediate throws”.... Once he shows he’s capable of that they’ll be saying “Dak’s handoffs are sloppy”. Anything to belittle our starting quarterback. Why though???
