This play is more telling than all of the poor throws combined, as it exemplifies his “mental
Abilities” as a QB. He’s done it multiple times this season and he continues to do it. I said in the TB thread about Devon White saying this team was basically simple that Dak made a very similar throw against Tampa in the first game of the season, meaning it’s been a trend all year long.

Dak should have had ANOTHER pick 6 returned for a TD this year, based off the same route and position. He’s completely staring down his WR, meaning it’s a predetermined read yet again. All the LB had to do is watch his eyes and make the break.

One week Dak says he’ll keep throwing it and the next week he’ll say he needs to make smarter decisions. He is who he is. You can’t scheme it away from him.

Dak’s issue was not the almost pick 6’s. We should have had three picks off of Purdy as well. The issue with Dak is those three missed touchdown passes. Two to CeeDee and one to Gallup that would have won the game. That is why I am done on Dak as the Cowboys quarterback. The Zeke-Dak era has come to an end.

The Dak-DraftedRB era has begun! If not, then Jerry is nuts.

I agree that not enough attention is given to his poor passes on deep throws. It's what makes me wince (wentz?) with the dialogue about needing to add more WR talent. There's no doubt Gallup cannot continue masquerading as our No. 2, but what real difference will it make?

Dak was encouraged by the powers that be to "stay aggressive" after each multiple pick performance this season. Nobody wanted to upset that apple cart....

You missed the point. The point is Dak has had multiple pick 6 on basically this SAME ROUTE OVER AND OVER AGAIN IN THE SAME FIELD POSITION. He’s a mental midget as QB that has zero awareness as the QB and what the defense is showing and doing. He can’t process the field worth a dime. His ability to jot hit WRs in stride is also often times subsumed under this, as he’s LATE delivering the ball, because he’s just slow. Here we are in the playoffs and he does the EXACT SAME THING, meaning he didn’t learn from his past experience. How can an OC compensate for that?

There was never a Dak era. It was a Zeke era that carried Dak. This has been the era of baby-sitting Dak at the expense of the team.

What are you saying here?

I mean are we not supposed to expect our 7 year vet QB, paid to be an upper level QB to see the freaking LB sitting there and not make that bad throw?
Did you watch Josh Allen these playoffs?

Did you see Tom Brady last week?

I can't do this all off-season with you guys.

That one should have sealed it. Teams in the league know Dak's MO. Get some pressure on him and he is going to his 1st read 90% of the time.

Here is one of the Titan picks, which is basically the same type of route that was Dak’s second pick against the 49ers. SAME ROUTE, SAME POOR DELIVERY, SAME STAREDOWN.

This has ZERO to do with pressure and everything to do with a QB who stares down WRs and is basically a system QB that throws on his early reads

Here is the clear angle they show ZERO PRESSURE, just a pre-determined play from Dak.

He's simply not smart enough to play quarterback. He would have been a good linebacker or tight end, which is where LSU wanted to put him.

The true DAC showed in the press conference last night. None of that pc, prbs. He sounded like he should be working at goodwill or laying bricks. Which there's nothing wrong with that but he's not intelligent.

I don't think I've been more disgusted after a game. It's a horrible feeling. I feel like something died inside of me. Hopefully it was my fandom because I really want to quit.

I don't care what Josh Allen did. I do care what Dak Prescott did. Last I looked Josh Allen does not play for the Dallas Cowboys.
Nice defense mechanism.

The reality is, qbs can't do it all themselves. Coaching is a huge part of it and so are weapons and a ground game. We didn't have any of those vs the #1 defense in the league on the road.

Yeh Dak played like crap but look at that play. Four curls at the same depth. The defense knows this and is just sitting on the route. They are all just standing there watching Dak. Ready to jump it.
This is the same crappy offense that used to get Romo in trouble also. Yes, the QBs have to take the blame but when are we going to get rid of JG's garbage offense? It hasn't worked since 2007 against good playoff teams.
