Dak after 2 weeks

He looks in the best shape. I have seen him since his rookie season. He looks stronger faster, wish him nothing but the best. And he’s got his head on. He’s thinking. From a great tackle week one, to the poise and patience of week two. He’s throwing dimes.
His footwork when dropping back is poor - a little laboured and he seems to take one unnatural longer step

Everyone said Dak played well in week 1 but I complained about him not running the ball more. Everyone said Dak played well in week 2 but slipped a bit but he did run the ball to put us in position to kick the winning FG as time expired in OT. If I were giving him a grade through two weeks, I give him an A.

Dak can be counted on to play well in the regular season against division opponents. Is that enough for you, then it should be enough for you. Not really sure why anyone else's opinion of him is your problem.
Yeah Dak should be cut because he sucks as a DT against the run.

That game never happened because of reasons.
Oh it happened. But compared to what he was facing and how he falls apart when the strength of competition rises. I mean that's not something that Pfizer has a shot for.

If that is the fantasy you want to embrace have at it. I mean if football is the so called team sport aren't you blaming a single position for the entire failure of the TEAM?

Hate on bro and keep exposing yourself.

Dak coming off the injury was one of my biggest concerns for 2025. I still question if he will hold up for 17 games with what has been glorified speed bumps at the tackle positions so far, but he has looked about as good as anyone could have expected. He looks a little slow at time, especially in first getting moving, but mentally the guy seems to be way ahead of where he was a few seasons ago.

I doubt the stats start dipping too much either. This defense is going to have us in some shootouts and pairing a Pickens with Lamb is a major upgrade of the WRs the last couple seasons.
He’s the same QB as always. NFL MVP runner up just 2 years ago. Don’t let the hate here alter your thinking.

Dak has reached another level.

I know...I keep saying it. But, I see better vision of the field, better reads, more accurate passing, less check downs, and an emphasis on trying to get the ball out quicker. But, also have to take into account that when we last saw Dak before his last injury, he was playing pretty poorly imo. I think, whether it's being coached better or intense rehab, he's had some "clickable" moments where he's figured it out a little more, i.e. growth. I could be wrong and, yes, it's easy to knee jerk change that thinking when he messes up a few plays. But, overall, it just feels better than it did before while still room for improvement. When a lot of his misses are dropped passes, then that's a good thing unless they continue to be dropped at key moments. Then you have a receivers problem.

I must say that I like the vertical game compared to the Texas Toast offense.

However, we have seen this before where he looked great in the first few games and then bad Dak and/or predictable offense shows up.

If he can stay healthy and plays the way he has the first two weeks against the rest of the schedule, we will definitely win more games than we lose.

Are we trending 2023, the ALL-Pro season...........shhhhhhh, not too loud (LOL)
He could end up breaking all the Cowboy QB records, but it won't be enough w/o a Super Bowl

BTW....did anyone else hear Jerry say he's trying to get Dak a Super Bowl

Jerry said the same thing about Romo.

Then he gave him the worst OL in history. And refused to move the chips to the middle of the table in 2014 when this team desperately needed a pass rusher.

What Jerry says and what he does are different always.

He may very well want to get Dak there. Problem is. He doesn’t know how. The team that got steamrolled on the ground by the Rams in the playoffs should have woke him up to the need at DT.

That was 6 years ago. Almost 7. And he finally now takes it seriously and gets rid of their best player to do it. lol.

He finally has some weapons..and the awkward distraction of Zeke is finally gone for good..

14 straight vs Giants is so crazy.

14 straight vs Giants is so crazy.
He did this in 2023 he did it in 2021 this is not his first time being good II don't know why people keep pointing that out.. This is nothing he hasn't done before last year was the anomaly those first four or 5 games or whatever they were there was no offensive line no run game bad play calling bad choice of player usage bad defense and sure this whole place said he's about to fall off a Cliff and he's washed and we were gonna see more of that this year.

That would be the fan base and the media overreacting in the moment.. It Was NOT true. We know you guys you'll come in here as soon as he has a bad game and say see I told you so like no other quarterback in the world throws interceptions or has bad games or loses a game...

We got a special thread that says he should throw the ball more away seriously I mean you guys will forever put everything on the quarterback around here he's had weapons before and he's always with weapons been better than without and that would be like every quarterback on every level...

Would be nice though if this group of alleged weapons show up in the playoffs because that's the problem we've had prime Demarco Murray who fumble and prime kicker Dan Bailey who missed two field goals and prime Dez who did or didn't catch it That all went on Romeo's blemished record but they lost that game they didn't show up these players in their prime seem to find a way to have their worst games in the playoffs.

That includes the offensive line the runners I mean Ezekiel Elliott great in the regular season offensive line and the run game just doesn't show up the defense plays their worst games...

Not that Prescott's never had the weapons prescott not had those weapons show up when it was important, romo either you remember Patrick Creighton the 2 bad plays yeah that's what we remember That's what we should remember but we just remember it was a loss on the quarterback...

Too many players in the last 30 years find the worst times to have their worst games and it's typically not the quarterback it just looks like the quarterback but when nobody's getting open balls are bouncing off people's hands There is no run game offensive line has 11 penalties and somehow it's on Prescott for not getting the ball lined up at the end of the game it's always at the quarterback feet..

Let's be clear we've had great receiving rooms with Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup along with some CD Lamb at the same time along with at least a good enough Tony Pollard or Ezekiel Elliott but they don't have their best games when it necessary to have their best games they literally some of them have their worst games...

If you look at that Eagles game it's not the playoffs but that's exactly how the playoff games go Prescott plays a great game but some of his best players let him down...

And that game is a microcosm of the last 30 years of big games,

you're playing a playoff team a Super Bowl caliber team you're supposed to get blown out but you're in the game and your quarterback has one of his best games and the team fails him and here we are we can't add that to his resume as a positive that he came out in game one and beat the Super Bowl championship team on the road on grass which is another narrative because there were like six drops in that game and in the first half the defense didn't show up..

After two games against bad defenses all Dak fanboys hail their saviour.

Real Dallas fans know thats its going to be another Rayne season.

We cant even hope the guy gets hurt. This time our backup is not better than him.

Nothing Dak does will ever be enough to please some fans
No , if he spearhead the cowboys into playoff and win a superbowl it will please even certified Dak hater too, ( btw I am not one , I just have some reservations on his game )
