Dak - 153..... at 29 years old and a half
Brady - 147.... at 29 years old and a half

Just saying.... it's possible. Not saying they're the same Quarterback, but it's possible Dak can take a stab at that record, and his current year isn't even over yet. He'll probably finish around 162-165 Touchdowns.

He needs a little over 300 (which is roughly double more to go) to crack the Top 15 considering a few other current QBs who might keep up his same pace.

Dak and Brady at 29 years old...

Dak 1-3 in the playoffs
Brady 12-2 in the playoffs with 4 conference championship appearences and 3 Superbowl wins

Who cares about TD records, all I want is a Superbowl.

Please stop with these comparisons... Just saying.

I've tried searching for it, but I can't find, but several years ago there was an article about the NFL making rules changes because they wanted higher end game scores. But yeah there have been other changes made that have made it easier for the offense to rake up points including the ones to protect players. I think anyone is off their rocker to not think that there are more rules that benefit the offense today than when brady first started.
The defensive players are always in attack mode. Now guess who all of these defensive players are attacking. so yes most of the rule changes have been to protect offensive players, but that doesn't mean they were designed to increase scoring. That's just some beat writers personal take on the rules.

You can't hit a quarterback in his head, his knees or land on him. But those rules are not designed to increase scoring. You can't hit a defenseless receiver. Again not designed to increase scoring. You can't make helmet to helmet contact. The ball now comes out to the 25-yard line. Those are all the rules that you are talking about, but none of those rules were actually designed to increase scoring. They are there to protect the players.

But like I said, defensive players are always in attack mode. So consequently it's the offensive players that need the most protection.

The problem is TB12 is an absolute freak of nature, playing at a high level well into his 40's. His game is incredibly cerebral and it's his mind that keeps him going, but the fact that his body has held up this long is far from ordinary to say the least. Fun to think about, but Brady will be holding that record for a very long time.

I highly doubt Dak plays past the age of 37.

Hopefully he does, but no way he catches Brady
I think qbs like Rodgers, Brady, and Favre playing well into their late 30s has made people think that every QB can play until that age. I think most qbs and Dak included start their decline around 34-35.

It's certainly plausible but there's guys like Mahomes that already have 180 tds at 27. No one knows how careers will play out but I don't think Dak will end up setting the record.

My only wish for Dak is he can bring home a Super Bowl during his career. The 22-23 would be a great place to start.

Dak is a very underrated QB.

Dak Haters don't have the intellectual stamina to have this conversation.

At the end of the day he can shut people up by leading the team deep into the playoffs.

All I know is Tom threw 6 Touchdowns in his first 6 playoff games (1 per game) and went 6-0 in those games. Dak threw 6 Touchdowns in his 4 playoff games (and ran for 3 more) but somehow only managed to go 1-3. I'm guessing the defense matters, but who cares right.
