And Brady's 27 playoff TD's during that period?

The most important TD's a team has in their history?

8 of them in the Super Bowl?

We'll just pretend they never happened?

Love Dak, but.......Nope!

The NFL has to answer to OSHA.
Player safety was the reason for those rules. There was no conspiracy to increase scoring. Y'all act like CTE isn't a real thing.

Two things can be true at once. A lot of rule changes were ostensibly made for safety reasons. Many of them have benefited offensive play. There have also been a number of rule changes specifically designed to make offense easier and increase scoring. Go check out the things DBs got away with in the 70s. Outright muggings, by today’s standards.

We’d all be a little better off if the word ‘conspiracy’ were embargoed for a while. It’s become a lazy, anti-intellectual excuse for avoiding engagement.

I have yet to be told exactly what rules were designed specifically to increase scoring. Because every rule change I see had player safety in mind. So what rule, not attached to player safety, was created to increase scoring?

If you can answer that question you win the dispute.

The so-called ‘Ty Law’ rule is the most obvious example. It re-emphasized the old ‘Mel Blount’ rule, which was put in place to prevent contact by DBs more than 5 yards beyond the line of scrimmage, because guys like Law (in the early 2000s) and Blount (in the 70s) were mugging receivers all the way down the field.

People act like Brady didn't benefit from a great defense and also playing in that weak division for years. Crazy how he gets a pass.

I will get shot down for this (which I'm happy to accept) but I never get the Brady GOAT stuff. He played in a putrid division for nearly 20 years so the Patriots gained easy Ws AND as a direct result, ended up with home field advantage in the playoffs. This all enhanced his legacy no end.

......oh, and the HC was a cheating f***** as well.

That rule was first implemented back in 1978. It's was revised in 1994, to help refs understand what to throw a flag on. So it's obviously not part of the new so called rules to increase scoring.

Tom Brady - 7 Superbowls
Dak Prescott - 0
Tom Brady - 2 HCs and 2 functional organizations

Romo/Prescott- 0

I have little doubt if Belichick, was our HC and Jerry let him pick the groceries and build the team. Or just even coach the team, we would have won SBs in 2007, 2014, 2016 and 2018.

when you thought the stupid threads have ended, I miss the dak is better than Mahomes, etc, but now as good as Brady. sheesh, the illusion is real. I think he has now reached the legend of Rico Gathers. sheesh.

Dak - 153..... at 29 years old and a half
Brady - 147.... at 29 years old and a half

Just saying.... it's possible. Not saying they're the same Quarterback, but it's possible Dak can take a stab at that record, and his current year isn't even over yet. He'll probably finish around 162-165 Touchdowns.

He needs a little over 300 (which is roughly double more to go) to crack the Top 15 considering a few other current QBs who might keep up his same pace.

This might get worst post of the year.

Lol triggered again. Dak hacks are so easily triggered!

it’s a stat really means nothing at this point just a stat but because it mentions Dak in same breath as Brady it will warrant 10 pages if futility :lmao::lmao:

Ain't that the truth.

The rest as well.
