A lot of us don't speak on it b/c we're emotionally attached to Dez and Dak....especially younger fans.

But one thing I noticed about Romo, whenever he broke the huddle, he'd often times give Dez extra instructions.....I know I'm not the only one who noticed this trend? I wonder if Dez misses this aspect of having Romo at QB.
He missing something cause I've noticed dude hasn't been really right yet with Dak. Seriously what is his best game since Dak been the QB. I like both of them no doubt but it hasn't been unnoticed that without Romo dude ain't looked the same.

What wasn't off today? Did Tyron Smith do anything dumb? I can't think of another good player who didn't blow something at one point or another.

Part of the problem is: Beside Dez, who do we have?

Dez is not a great WR. But none of these guys are. twill and Bease are good role players and Butler sucks.

Wr is a huge need

That's my point. He doesn't do it any longer because we now have went the route of forcing him the ball every single game. He will go back to doing it the second that happens. Don't be naive.

Dez isn't even a top 20 WR in this league. He can't beat anyone. Not a speedster. Questionable hands. Limited route tree. What exactly does he do well?

Help me here....when has Dez not had a limited route tree? When did he have speed? When did he beat anyone? Did you guys expect Dez to turn into a completely different player or do you guys not remember the type of player Dez was?

And don't you be naive.....there were times last year where Dez didn't get as many targets as Witten and Beasley......when has he thrown a "tantrum"?

And if he was going to throw a "tantrum" he should've threw it today or last week because Dak has thrown him some terrible footballs.

I remember everybody in the media in preseason talking about Das and Dez spending their first full preseason together and they now in sync blah blah blah .. another lesson for those looking to waste their time watching or listening to the media

Norm Hitzges just said on the postgame that Dez isn't a top 20 receiver in the NFL anymore.

Top 20?

I don't even think he's a top 64 receiver anymore.

He was good because he was a freak jump ball receiver and dynamic running after the catch. He doesn't have that talent anymore.

He's slow, a lazy route runner, and a mental midget.

I would cut bait after this season, he's done.

Exactly.. people making up new criteria for Dez, like he lost a step which he never in reality had. Both him and T Will were top 3 in go routes like 2 years ago. The route tree and deep routes have always been a feature of this offense. He's never has speed and we rarely use him on motion and crossing routes.

Last couple of years these were the same guys saying just throw it to Dez, because even if he looks like he's covered he's not.

Dak missed a wide open Dez a few times last game, sailing the ball high.

If there's a top notch receiver come draft time with our pick, I highly consider taking him.

People remember the Dez Romo made look great. Romo made alot of guys look great. Dez hasn't changed he is still the same he has never been really fast and he doesn't run great routes. But you throw it up and let him go get it thats what he's good at. Dak needs to just throw it up and let Dez go get it. Dak is not the second coming of Rodgers just yet. The season is young everybody played poorly today even witten dropped a TD. Give it a few weeks hopefully we are not as bad as we looked today.

I'm going to say it again..

In Romo's last year starting, both Dez AND TWill were in the top THREE in GI ROUTES in this offense and that year, Dallas was bottom four in pass attempts.

How people say he is a poor route runner or lazy and can't run good routes are speaking nonsense. Dallas SECOND WR ran top three in go routes.

This passing offense and it WR were designed to challenge the defense deep and most teams use to play deep cover 2.

Dez did take over the playoff game and was pivotal in that comeback being down by 18.

I can't help but wonder what Julio Jones numbers would be in this offense. I don't see the coaches utilizing him the way they do in Atlanta.

I don't doubt that Dez may not be the same he was in 2014 but it just seems like our schemes are based on "out talenting" the opposition
