Prescott played great today. He came back exceptionally well from the early pick six. He needs to tidy up his thinking during the pressure moments like on that final drive but ultimately he and the offense put 40 points up against one of the best teams in the nfl albeit without their starting QB.

Enjoy the W and look forward to the rest of the season.

 Reading through this thread, these guys are something else. LOL!! It's always something.

"Well if it wasn't for....."
"Yeah but if he didn't...."
"I mean, yeah, but if this..."

You guys absolutely refuse to give any credit when it's due. You'd literally rather be right about "Dak sucking" than you would to see this team succeed. For what? Just to prove your point? So we can all grovel at your feet telling you what an amazing evaluator of talent you are? You're agenda driven hate for Dak has given you tunnel vision and is not allowing you to look at football objectively. If you don't like the guy, fine, feel free, but you are allowed as a fan to root for this team, enjoy a win, and give the guy credit from time to time.

The playoffs are coming. He’s won lots of regular season games. We’ll see! Hoping for the best.
I see that kind of like a character in Game of Thrones, cue the foreboding, organ music, says,---"Winter is coming..."
Cowboys fans, Playoffs are coming. Hope is eternal. Very cool.

I’ll praise Dak when he deserves it and criticize him when he deserves it. He played really well. That bomb to Hilton was honestly a dime deep throw from him.

The only things you could possibly nitpick is the awful interception (maybe his worst all season. I almost think he tried not to throw or something), some clock management near the end, and a couple throws that didn’t help receivers, like making Schultz go to the ground, and behind and high on that crosser that Gallup dropped on 3rd down.

I’ll take that performance without the INT any game day!

I got over the pick-6 quickly. Awful play, but it happens. Won't make that same mistake again.

The 2 plays that REALLY pissed me off were right before the 2 minute warning... ran out of bounds with 2:01 left, then took the sack with 1:56 left as if the clock would keep rolling.

A+ game from Dak otherwise.
:starspin:
I'm wondering if he ran out of bounds thinking the 2 minute warning would strike before he got out. Should have slid just to be sure, but it isn't one of the worst mistakes a QB could make.

The next play was much worse.

With 2:01 on the clock, he needed to be aware that there's no benefit to staying inbounds because of the 2-minute warning. He took a big sack when he could've simply thrown the ball away, losing crucial yardage for no reason.

The guy made 2/3 mistakes all game and some posters are complaining? Literally that means the only way he gets props is by being perfect.

I get being skeptical of the guy but dang, even after one of his best career games you’re gonna b**tch?

I thank the majority of y’all like @WillieBeamen for being able to acknowledge when he plays well. The 4-5 posters who cannot ever give any props to Dak are strange. You won’t see a Pappy post for days.

No, he let him run right by him expecting the safety that showed to take inside of Lamb was going to cover behind. It was completely stupid play on Slay’s part as he basically ceded coverage to the safety who was lined up next to him, not over he top. Had zero to do with Hilton ‘burning’ him..

Not in anyway whatsoever are you supposed to let your WR get behind you like that.

Almost as dumb as Dak reading defenses.

I see you are angry that Dallas won, buck up little camper. They lost last week.

Seeing Dak have any success is causing ulcers among some of the fanbase.

How about Dak leads us to the NFC Championship then I will personally congratulate Dak 100 times. Until then we're in the same era since 1996 no NFC Championship games much less Super Bowl appearances or wins.

Dak is only responsible for team play since 2016. Romo and a few others carry the rest of the baggage.

Dez, Amari, Moore, Gallup, McCarthy, Zeke, Lamb not knowing routes, the OL supposedly not being able to block, Jerry not putting together a roster and the list goes on and on for every loss. Half the INTs are not his fault nowadays. Dak…. It’s never his fault…

Cut the crap, as we all got our biases, so stop pretending like you Dak-Stans are unbiased and rational. The moral high-horse of objectivity is a crock of garbage for you guys period.

Facts are Dak once again showed how bone-headed he can be with his state down reads. Heck, he almost threw another pick into double coverage on his THIRD SLANT in a row on one of the last series, as he just threw it without bothering to look. The guy is dumb and his horrible pocket presence was clear to see right before the 3rd and 30 bone headed Eagles defensive play. Those two series prior were garbage pocket presence as Dak got sacked twice from behind holding onto the ball with zero awareness.

That is media and fan talk, just like you are doing. I see you and a selected few, love fighting out of the Alamo.

What have we won since 2016? Like I said, stop pretending like you aren’t biased and every time Dak implodes, us critics calling it out doesn’t bother you. I’ve already admitted my bias long ago and my bias has been consistently confirmed. I have been closer to the truth than you guys have been year in and year out. I’ve got nothing to hide that I think he’s a pretender QB masquerading behind a roster that was already 4-1 without him with a QB that has a noodle arm. He makes the absolute dumbest decisions that cost the game and he consistently had some of the absolute worst stretches of QB play with the talent that surrounds him

There is nothing Dak did tonight that Minshew didn’t do better as far as passing the ball is concerned. The difference was the Dallas defense generated 4 TOs and the Eagles right bother adjusting to Lamb in the slot.

After all of your ranting, I hope someone sang you a lullaby. Close your eyes and goodnight...
