Dak attending practice

And we wonder why FAs don't come here. Jerry probably doesn't help, but I think our fanbase might turn off potential FAs.

LOL...yeah, you don't see any free agents going to Philly. FAs don't come here because they aren't pursued, or they get "honest offers".

As I stated, Jerry doesn't help. However, the frequent wanting someone out if they make a mistake is a bit toxic after a while. I think if we were more patient with players, then that might help.

Some people just don't understand....they spew hate and don't appreciate the things that players go through....it is what it is...

I do wonder why. I think it's also a shame how quickly some will want a player gone if they make a mistake or we lose rather than being patient. I think patience with the players and coaches is important.

Interesting to see Dak has only a small cast/bandage on his thumb. I wonder what exactly they did during the surgery. It had to be very minor or I think they would have a biggest bandage over the area. He can;t do anything with it for 10 days but it will be interesting to see what happens after the 10 days are up.

I wonder if they get treated like that at their job....or they treat their employees or kids like that? I never did....

I could see him trying to give it a go. He's not on IR, so, perhaps if he's comfortable, he might be able to attempt to play sooner than expected.

I have my own theories based on the sequence of events starting from the shoe issue. I will only say that I don't think it was ever really about the thumb.

Which, as I stated, creates a culture of toxicity. Jerry doesn't help, as we all know. However, I think we as a fan base can be overly harsh and toxic with players. Yes, we've not been what we want to be. However, it's rare to get what we got in the 90s. Perhaps it's because I've never tasted success, but I like the players we have, and I don't know when we will actually get back to the SB. However, in the meantime, I shall continue to strive to be the best fan that I can be and support the players where I can.

It might be a bit tough to grip the ball if his thumb hurts and they have to worry about the bone being fully healed or he could reinjure it.

I'd imagine so. I do think, when he does come back, that he will likely be wearing a glove on his throwing hand. That might help him to protect his hand a bit better.

many say once the wound is closed ie healed, he will start getting back his range iof motion first with special exercises and maybe start gripping a ball in 3 weeks, soft tossing etc,.,that little bandage, him not trying to protect it much says a lot to me.. the 4-week deal isn't that hard to believe.

dak is all about talk and projecting leadership . on the field , it is an empty sandwich . what a waster

That's also a problem. Dak wants to be in the spotlight and by being there he is taking off the concentration of all his "friends" on the team. They are probably all giddy that the Dak is there instead of supporting Rush and listening to him to try and get a handle on "his" team for now. Oh, no...Dak ain't having any of that! PR machine at work.

I think you should be patient with Jerry too. I don't understand the hate for Jerry.

Hehe, I've been quite patient with him. However, I do think he's made a lot of poor decisions. I think the issues this season including Dak's injury are in large part his fault for impersonating Mr. Krabs.
