Lol there are some dummies in here
Steve McNair.
physicaly and in heart...good leader.
no FN way Bro..Air Mcnair Was black but thats about it on comparisons..that dude could throw with the best of them..his arm was more than average and he could run and take hits.. seriously where do you guys come up with these names.. even 2016 Dak was nowhere near Mcnair, Mcnair and Mcnabb were nearly identical..it said current players but if you want any players of the past Id say he reminds me of Vince Young
Lol you’re comparing a Alex Smith Who developed those traits to a 3rd year QB that is finding his strengths. Dak’s Pay day will be around Carr’s #’s at the very least.
I dont care about stats and if Dak keeps playing like he did last year his stats will be dropping..2 yrs compared to what 7-10? he was called Air Mcnair dude could air the ball out, dak couldn't be mistaken for that by blind people..i like dak but he doesnt at all remind me of those types of Players just yet..Mcnabb, Mcnair they wanted the ball they wanted to throw deep and kkill the defense on every play.. Dak seems more comfy just dropping it off and when he does throw deep hes way off target..nothing looks smooth in his release etc thats all im saying..right now they dont seem like close to the same player..Dak has a higher completion %(65.2%) than McNair had in his best season(64.9%).
In two of McNairs first three seasons he had completion %'s of 51.3% and 52.0%.
McNairs career TD to INT was 1.46, Daks is nearly double at 2.6.
McNair had a 6.9 yards per attempt, Dak is almost 20% higher at 7.4.
McNair had 194.4 yards per game, Dak at 218.5 yards per game.
Should I keep going?
Yes lets leave out his rookie season. That never happened. You know the record for most consecutive pass attempts to start a career without an interception which beat out Tom Brady. And the only player to throw less than 5 ints in his first 500 passing attempts. He also had this record, Dak reached 25 career touchdowns with the fewest interceptions (4) in NFL history. We all gave Romo time we need to do the same with Dak to see if anything is there. He has done enough at this point in his career to give him that chance. We had a guy for 10 years that couldn't get it done, lets hope it doesn't take 10 years to figure it out again.2017
Prescott

Another internet poster thinking they are the only one with a thought smh. A lot of people have made that comparison so what the blank are you talking about regarding this other reasons babble?Alex smith is the best comparison imo. Similar playstyles and strengths/weaknesses. I’ve made this observation in other threads.
Of course others will only compare DP to other black quarterbacks because.. reasons.
Who says Im not giving Dak time.Yes lets leave out his rookie season. Vince Young????no FN way Bro..Air Mcnair Was black but thats about it on comparisons..that dude could throw with the best of them..his arm was more than average and he could run and take hits.. seriously where do you guys come up with these names.. even 2016 Dak was nowhere near Mcnair, Mcnair and Mcnabb were nearly identical..it said current players but if you want any players of the past Id say he reminds me of Vince Young
The rushing of Cam Newton with the passing of Tom Brady....... Yep I said it
PREACH 88
whats your argument?Vince Young????
STOP.
OR Marino hmmHopefully in a few years we can compare him to Brady, with 5 rings . Not Romo, or Danny White with great success and no rings.
