Dak could get away with throwing for around 200 yds a game

No need to preach to me, right there with ya

I do need to add.....Dak is no Goff though.......

I think they are fairly similar, just that Goff had a lot better protection and gameplan. I saw Goff miss that guy in the endzone with a late throw. It should have been picked off but the DB dropped it. Goff is confident and comfortable in the pocket. Dak hasn't been either since the Atlanta game.

If he ran at least 4 times and maybe averaged like 35 yards on the ground.
Like I get it, I don't expect every QB to be Rodgers or Brady, but Dak is an okay passer but he seems so hesitant to run and either he's scared to get hit or we don't call many running plays.
Dak is 6'2 and about 235. If he has trouble passing they need to run him more, I really don't get having a QB with Earl Campbell legs hardly taking off.

I'm a fan of this team, and I understand the limits of Dak, so why not have him run it more? This would also help him in the passing game as well. I'd totally accept dak Throwing for about 200 yards a game if he also added another 40 or 50 in the rushing game.

Thoughts?
They want him to be a pocket passer, and dont encourage him to run, may even tell him not to ,or that he shouldnt.
I have been saying for awhile he should drop back and if it opens up take off and run and slide , or go out of bounds.
It would affect the pass rush and frustrate the defense.
He should do it early in the game to get things going, and make defense leary of him running.

I dont however like the planned run plays, except at the goal line.

Why are we settling for the floor at the qb position? We need a qb that defenses fear, that if they load up to stop the run he'll throw for close to 400 yards and 4 tds against man coverage.

With the season Dak had as a rookie, and given that last season was so screwed up with the Zeke situation looming all year, it makes perfect sense that they would go with Dak. If he fails, next year will be the time to chase a new QB.
