Where are you getting this opinion from?

The Eagles are very middle of the pack in the rankings. The Packers are good against the run and below top ten against the pass. The rest of our opponents are very low in the rankings. Dak has played against one good but not great defense.


The Dak defenders go just as far overboard as the haters do.

I saw it differently. Murray was on track for a TD. To claim he wasn't...belies your assertion he was "prolific". He...and at least the team...were driving fo a sure TD.

GB then kicked a FG. 10 pt swing at the end of half. Momentum lost.

GB then came out with 2nd half TD drive. Instead of AT LEAST an even up situation...it was 17 point swing. Momentum.

YEs...it was a poo poo defense against Rodgers...which made the moment more critical.

It is unfortunate we can't have an objective conversation about Dak - or Micah and Diggs - anymore. Most fans have gone into their corners and when the bell rings they come out fighting to win.

It is hard to argue that Dak is not playing really well right now. One could argue he is playing great. Is he elevating other players? That's a hard thing to determine. Dak getting the ball out quickly against GB was really good, and he made his OL look a lot better by making those plays even thought the OL was actually struggling with Micah at times.

You have to admit, if you are willing to see things objectively, Dak is certainly playing much better than he did to start the season last year. In fact he is much better. I believe Dak struggled last year because he was trying to prove he deserved the $60 million per year contract. He faded under that pressure. In reality, he can never prove he deserved $60 million.

At the same time, Dak has had some great starts playing for Dallas in the past. He has been mentioned in the MVP discussions early before. But then he faded in the second half of the season, and fell over in post season games. For Dak, he needs to play a full season like he is playing now, and it has to continue into the playoffs. Even if he does, it still will not prove he is worth $60 million and it still won't silence all his critics. There are among Dallas fans, those who just want to hate on Dallas players for some reason. They focus the blame for losses on one guy or another. Whether it is Dak, Diggs, or Micah, this kind of thing is unfair, IMO.

Can we accept Dak is playing greaat right now? Then let's see how he plays against the better teams and bigger games. We can access Dak at the end of the season.

None of which has anything to do with how Dak played in those games. Dallas had 5 drops vs the Eagles and still had a shot to win it and he put up 40 points on the Packers.

LOL in the first week of October? Talk about being a prisoner of the moment.

I guess we always have to add the caveat - I like Dak, I’d want him to marry my daughter and he’s really good right now but nobody is wrong in questioning his poor post season performance. He does not get the benefit of the doubt.

Our team was driving for a sure TD? Green Bay got a turnover in our territory and only got a FG out of it. Nothing is sure. And Murray wouldn't have scored either. He had a trailer and there was a safety deep who would have at least slowed him down enough for the trailer to catch him. No matter how you slice it, we got 7 off a turnover and they got 3. The Murray fumble ain't as bad as folks make it but it's a popular gig.

This is a joke…Packers give up 205 passing yards a game and it was top 5 before Dak lit it up. You Dak haters stoop at such a low level and why? Because it’s personal we already know.

We’re past his poor postseason play. That’s a given.

We’ve moved on to his poor play against the better teams in the league now.
