Dak Critics haven't been proven wrong

People focus on the wrong things. Romo and Dak are both better QBs than Eli and he won two super bowls because of the team around him. Dan Marino is probably the best QB ever and he never won a ring.

Stop believing that the path to winning a Super Bowl is your best 3 players needing to be even better. Way more telling is who are your worst 3 players and who is coming in when starters get injured.

Jerry has always overpaid stars at the expense of depth, and then tries to make up for it with high risk reward players, whether it’s health or off the field issues.

That’s the formula that has failed. Not overpaying Parsons may be the first time we haven’t done that in 25 years, so have some hope for that instead of worrying about Dak. He is more than good enough and he has fixed all the mechanical issues I had with him years 1-4.

Why are you using Stafford and Elway to defend Dak? Those guys were always known to be supremely talented coming out of college and showed that to be true. Dak wasn't, isn't, and hasn't. Dak is the same guy he was in college.

The defense was atrocious. I've never heard anyone say anything different. That doesn't excuse Dak for his play though. Just like giving up 200 yards on the ground to the Rams is their battle cry. They kept them out of the end zone though and Dak couldn't find his butt with 2 hands and a flashlight.

Dak has played well in a couple of games this year. We've seen it before though and it's always come crashing down. I'm hoping Schotty can keep ahead of the opponents without having to ask Dak to step out of his comfort zone. Dak has a ceiling on what he can do and if asked to go beyond that he crashes and burns. I'm sincerely hoping he's going to succeed but I'm not expecting it.

2-2-1 is all I care about. Dak has had the better team in most of those wins.

It might seem that I and other Dak critics need to eat Crow given how well Dak is playing now, but all of the criticisms/doubts we had were legitimate.
He hadn't shown that he was a "Force Multiplier" type QB where he would elevate his team despite being short handed. He did struggle in many big game situations and came up small. He did talk a good game but didn't always back it up on the field in crucial games. Him demanding to be the highest paid QB in the NFL when he hadn't proven that he was deserving of $60 Million a year.
Having said all that, this year he isn't proving critics wrong, he's just seems to have elevated his play and worked on overcoming those legitimate criticisms. He is playing at an Elite level and seems to have reached a point similar to Romo where in 2014 things finally began to click and he reached a level where he figured out the game at a high level.
I hope Dak continues on this progression and shows that he has overcome any deficiencies he displayed previously and shows that he has reached Elite status.

Yet they were within 8 points start of 4th quarter....you are hung up on how you think things should transpire and prettiness of it. We were out of the game because we couldn't stop the run. They got the ball and just shoved it down our throats. They held the ball for 36.minutes. on top of thar zeke averaged 2.4 ypc for a total of 47 yards. We couldn't stop the run. Couldn't run the ball. Our offense became one dimensional and easier to defend...with an imbalance offense Dak struggles because Dak is not Mahomes.

Because it's easy to pick on one player on the offense, namely the QB and they are often highest paid.

So if the QB calls plays, distributes the ball but the receiver drops the ball or RB fumbles leading to a loss, then whose fault is it? Seemingly the QB gets credited with loss and gets the blame.

And it is hard on defense topics on one player thus defense is often judged collectively and right now defense sucks and that fact is undeniable.

So if the offense scores 40 points and you lose or tie the game should the QB still get the blame?

Its more complicated than the Hate Dak club wanting a single point of failure to put all the blame.

didnt Dak just play the Jets with 1 starting O-lineman and missing his 1st and 3rd WR and scored 37 because his D is ranked like dead last in the NFL.. now I didnt say Dak had no blame in tha packers game either but what a wierd comeback considering how 2025 has gone.

I don't think anyone's worried about the Jets. Occasionally he/we have a stinker against teams like the Jets, but generally that's where Dak shines. I expect him to have another good game this week.
