Great description. Dalton was signed to back up Dak not compete with him.

Yeah and I also understand that most people know that but I know some people get a kick out of trying to rile up people on this site lol. At last I hope that's the case. I hope people don't think Dalton actually has a chance to start outside of injury or sickness.

Infact I don't think Dalton makes the team if Clayton and DiNucci have a pulse..

The offense with Dalton's zero off script ability will sputter...

Nothing to laugh about . The Cowboys were smart and/or lucky a deal didn't get done to extend Dak. He's not a bad QB by any means but I don't think he has what is needed to get this team to a Super Bowl. I know, throw stats at me about how great he is (against the worst teams in the league). Dalton may not be it either but if he is playing for as much as he is it helps us keep our current players in the event the cap decreases or sign other pieces to help out if it stays the same or somehow increases. Dalton's not a bad QB, he was just on a god awful team last year.

Very true . Dalton cost at 1/10th of Dak’s salary is a no brainer .
