Hope we get a thread after the 49ers game how Dak is the reason we lost against the 49ers, if that's the outcome, since apparently he IS the team now.

Can we just get a freakin' Dak Zone already? I'm tired of members who are a fan of a single player stinking up this place. Just **** already.
It’s no different than those that don’t like Dak blaming it all on him or most of it. It’s not a team loss but all on Dak

People are dug in and won’t change indicative of how the world is

I don't see anything Dak hater about his post. More like someone tired of everything - good or bad - being 100% about the QB. You've said yourself that it is a team game.

There are some folks that I'd swear can't make a post without mentioning him. I might make an off topic post about the weather, to see how long it takes for a Dak mention.

If you're tired of hearing about Dak, get rid of your mod status. Pure and simple. You know very well Dak is this team's franchise QB. You knew it when you accepted your mod invitation, so get rid of it if you can't handle fans constantly bringing up and praising their team's QB.

He was brilliant vs Tampa and people are tired of hearing about him. Lol

Dak gets super old when he's playing well and appreciated.

Exactly. Why the hell is a mod if he's tired of hearing about Dak? Because I heard about Dak all summer long and all week long after the Commanders loss and didn't see a peep of him being "tired of hearing about Dak". Tired of hearing about Dak after a good performance? He doesn't want to be a mod it seems like.

Dak did what Romo couldn't do: Win a road playoff game and very convincingly at that. But can McCarthy finally get the 26 year monkey off our back and win a div playoff game? You'll be surprised at my opinion.

I think we're gonna win Sunday. This is not sarcasm or anything but my opinion. I think somehow, we win Sunday and finally make it to an NFC championship game (remember those?). My brother has talked me into how Brock Purdy's magical run is coming to a close because defensive coordinators have enough video to study and will be able to game plan more effectively. We'll see what happens and it will really hinge on a) will SF's def stop the run and b) will Dak play like elite Dak or playoff Romo.

I am reminded that even if we win Sunday and finally get back to the conf championship, that the fuhrer is still the biggest GM failure in the history of football. He has had 26 tries at assembling a roster to make it to the NFC championship in the salary cap era, and he couldn't ever do it.
The difference between Dak and Romo was you knew Romo was going to show up but you just didn't know how many turnovers he was gonna have. With Dak you never know if is going to show up or if he is going to go cold for 3 quarters.

You knew Romo would show up? Really? You had blind confidence in Romo if you knew hew would show up. He literally played worse in the playoffs than he would in the regular season.

As a fan of both i'll tell you right now I have the same uncertinity on what we will get from Dak that I had in Romo. Anyone being honest would admit this. Hell you can say it about the Cowboys as a whole. Throughout both of their careers both teams seem to start off slow and not come in prepared.

I wish both were more consistent for sure. The bottom line for me is their QB play in playoff games and Dak has already outshined Romo in the playoffs.

Just trying to perpetuate an argument.

why

I mean, do you really think beating an 8-9 Tampa that managed 14 points was as hard as beating a prime 12-4 Green Bay team in January Lambeau or a 13-3 Minnesota team that led the league in scoring and sacks in a deafeningly loud dome?
Come on.
it could not get more opposite

Art, I share your optimism and fully realize that may be because since the Cowboys went to their last NFCCG, they are 0-5 in Wild Card rounds and 0-6 in Divisional rounds, 0-11 in their attempt to get back to the NFCCG.

I am going with the intangibles on this one. When this rivalry was at its peak, only 10 of this current roster's players were even born but that doesn't matter. Every player that was in that game last year to end their season knows the feeling of a team telling you they're coming to spank you and take your lunch money and doing just that. However, after all of their self-inflicted wounds, they still had the chance to win that game at the end.

The HC and QB know that bitter taste in their mouths because how the very end was handled only goes away with a redemptive win and delivering that in front of their home fans seems the best way to serve payback.

And this team could not have prepared better for this away game than how they played the last one.
