Seriously

It's either funny or embarrassing
Look at the secondary alone in 2007

Terence Newman was the only solid player back there. Other than that you had Roy Williams who had completely lost his mojo, with Ken Hamlin and Jaques Reeves

Yeah. Super bowl caliber.
And Dak played with the worst defense in franchise history. Crickets …

Does your back hurt from moving those goalposts?

You claimed parcells left a "super bowl caliber" roster on both sides of the ball. Which was quickly disproved

And either way, What does that have to do with Dak?

But even if it did have anything to do with Dak, I assume you're talking about the 2020 defense?
Dak was injured and only started 5 games that year. Dalton had to endure the brunt of that. Not Dak.

Keep trying Art. Sooner or later you're bound to say something accurate

Romo really showed up against the Eagles in Philly. 44-6 was the final and I’ve never seen a more gutless performance from a Dallas QB. Dak has had bad games but he’s never quit in his team like Romo in Philly. Just saying …
If you lose 44-6, that's a total team collapse. He also went on to beat the Eagles three times the next season, once being in the playoffs.

The same pro bowlers that gave up a TD with like 40s left in the first half from the opponent’s 20 yard line. Reeves was particularly burned on that series. Changed the momentum coming out into the second half.
Made a 30+ year old Amani Toomer look like a HOF receiver

That 2007 team was so overrated - people bring up the pro-bowlers as if most of those players were worth a damn. Things were really falling apart near the end of the season too.

Dak did what Romo couldn't do: Win a road playoff game and very convincingly at that. But can McCarthy finally get the 26 year monkey off our back and win a div playoff game? You'll be surprised at my opinion.

I think we're gonna win Sunday. This is not sarcasm or anything but my opinion. I think somehow, we win Sunday and finally make it to an NFC championship game (remember those?). My brother has talked me into how Brock Purdy's magical run is coming to a close because defensive coordinators have enough video to study and will be able to game plan more effectively. We'll see what happens and it will really hinge on a) will SF's def stop the run and b) will Dak play like elite Dak or playoff Romo.

I am reminded that even if we win Sunday and finally get back to the conf championship, that the fuhrer is still the biggest GM failure in the history of football. He has had 26 tries at assembling a roster to make it to the NFC championship in the salary cap era, and he couldn't ever do it.
Team game...until it isn't. How convenient.

Art say you hate Romo and move on. It's easy to see, Romo haters are dak lovers. sheesh
I am not a big Romo fan since he did not have playoff success.

The same can be said for Dak (unless the Cowboys win today)… that would be an accomplishment.

^ This.

Defense forces the Giants to punt, Dallas wins.

Defense forces the Giants to kick a field goal, Dallas wins.

Defense allowed the Giants to score before the half.

Math.
