Dak doing well under pressure

Looking at a chart through eight games showing the average time to throw vs. sack rates, Dak is getting rid of the ball quick and avoiding sacks--given his pass protection lately, he has little choice. The only part of this chart I don't like is that it shows an average, not a median, which doesn't fully take into account QB's that can extend plays. Caleb Williams has learned how to run around and throw throw the ball away in lieu of being sacked. QB's like Hurts and Jackson try to use their mobility and strength to not give up on plays and will take sacks, believing that they can get it done. Sometimes it works for them. Not so for mobile QB's that just suck (Fields) or very young mobile QB's that are still learning how to play the game (Maye, Dart, Ward).

Dak critic here but I must admit that overall (save last Sunday) he is having a good season thus far. If the rest of the team were playing as well as he is then this would be a PO team. Hopefully it will continue. The schedule starts getting tougher soon.

As much as the detractors want to place blame, Dak is not a problem with this team. It is most everyone else.
We actually would’ve beat Denver if we had Phillies defense. We scored more points than Philly, they lost to Denver and the defense held them to enough points where we would’ve won, but it’s Prescott’s fault.

Dak and the offense scored 17 points. He has two elite receivers, top 5 running game, and multiple 1st rounders on the oline. He did not have a good game last Sunday, the excuses need to stop, he's in year 9 and the highest paid qb in the league

It's become beyond tiresome. It's pure hatred at this point. They know it's not true, but they have to spew their hatred to feel happy.

No, he didn't have a good game, but he didn't have a lot of time to have a good game. The defense was on him pretty dang quickly, most of the time.

Rookie Jaxon Dart led his team to 32 points, throwing 3 TDs vs the same Broncos Defense at home. Dart doesn’t have the weapons Dak has, and he played well.

Fair statement, no problem. Quick questions though.

Why is it when we beat people, we like to bring up their injured players, etc.? But then you said all the things that you said Dak has available to him, speaking of multiple 1st rounders on the offensive line....

Yet we played without our starting Center, we've played previous games MISSING multiple starting offensive linemen AND won, and we've played with a defense who are missing multiple starters AND ranked last in defense.

Did you realize that we were able to win 3 games and tie with a great Packers squad with us having the worst ranked defense in the NFL all season?

Let me ask you this last question.

Name me one quarterback in the NFL who will be successful on a team with a historically NFL worst defense in the NFL? I got one last piece of advice for you while you think of that... Denver has the number one ranked defense in the NFL and our quarterback didn't have alot of time to do anything in the pocket.

Name me one quarterback in the NFL that could do anything in the pocket without any time.... here's the answer. There isn't one.

which is exactly why posting this chart (again), right after that game is head scratching. this chart is for the entire season, thus not really reflective of the one game where he faced significant pressure.

he most certainly didn't do that well against pressure last week. i agree he had a fair amount of pressure but it's not like he didn't have any time. chart last week & his plays against it. that would more clearly reflect the ability to deal with pressure.
