Threads like this kill me. So what is the accusation exactly, that Dallas only beat certain teams because they had the audacity to be better than them? Are they supposed to apologise for being good? And why would winning games upset a so called Cowboys fan anyway?

This place really is a miserable place sometimes.

Who will they blame when the 49ers beat Prescott for the 50th time?

We need some sort of Dak Prescott bingo...

- o line
- defense
- kicker
- The one dropped catch by a WR
- WR apparently ran the wrong route
- offensive scheme
- coaching
- weather
- because he did/didn't wear a glove
- not having home field advantage (ironically Prescott's fault due to his incompetent performances in the losses yet they fail to appreciate this minor point)...
yep, when it comes to why Dak laid another Egg at the worst time excuses they are Superbowl winners every year! :muttley:

The schedule was deceiving as the NFC East took a big step backward. NY made the playoffs last year and it was assumed they would improve. Washington was returning a stout defense. Both of them completely imploded. Add NE, Buffalo , Miami, and SF…….. yeah tough schedule preseason on paper.
It's sure time to add Philly to that list of implodees...

I'm curious many other playoff-bound team message boards have fans clamoring for their teams to move on from their QB and head coach. It would make for an interesting study.

True. Philly was starting to show cracks the first time we played them. It is definitely a full on implosion at this point. But, they are one win away from getting some confidence back.

This was clear, but it doesn't matter now.

We'll know everything in 3 weeks or less.

Those other teams haven't watched rinse-and-repeat for 8 years.

The numbers are valid. If you’re getting angry at them, you need to step back and reevaluate. Having said that, the parade of weak pass defenses continues next week so they’re not a concern yet.

So McCarthy bears the sins of Garrett?

And I'll see your 8 years and raise it with 20 additional years.

You mean when he carried 4-12 rosters to the playoffs multiple times?
I loved Romo. Loved him. I got to know him personally as he transitioned from fourth-string, fringe-of-roster QB to a rostered player. His story was awesome. He was among the most exciting players I've ever watched.

With that out of the way, I do find it laughable that someone can -- with a straight face -- critique the last 8 years while pretending the failures that happened under Romo's watch never occurred.

Forget the numbers, stats, MVP, and all that horse poop. I just want Dak to stay within himself and play to his strengths. He does that, and if the rest the team stays focused, we'll surprise some folks.

Can we be happy that Dak just completed one of the finest Cowboy QB seasons ever? Is it really that difficult?
