“So I was at my fantasy draft last night and one of the guys there swears up and down Dak will not be the same. He broke it down because he had the exact same injury as Dak and he mentioned inflammation as an issue for the remainder of his career as he too was never the same. We all ridiculed him stating he doesn’t have Dak access or money to the best trainers/medicine money can by but he continued to break things down show us pictures of his injury (which did look exactly like Daks).

I guess time will tell”

This was last years post. Will be interesting to see what happens this season

Feeling a "pop" somewhere once in awhile is not a death sentence. As long as it's not crackle or snap he's good to go.
No excuses. No pampering.
"JUST DO IT!" . "SHUT UP AND PLAY!"

I will say this

@MountaineerCowboy is right that they have never downplayed an injury and it ends up not being a bigger deal than what they acted like it was.

We saw this for years with Romo, with Tyron, with Zeke, with Sean Lee, with Fredbeard, ect ect ect.

I do not trust a damn thing that comes out of the Cowboys brass's mouths.

The question is does he have the guts to run and cut on that ankle.
I sure as heck wouldn't:facepalm:
he wasnt a "cutter" before the injury. He is a pocket passer who can run a bit when an opening offers itself and even then he lumbers down like a lineman. has always been that type

No worries...

It was just a blister from a different shoe or something.

Can't believe you guys believed that shoe story lol

I said it once and I'll say it again. That leg will be an issue for the rest of his life regardless of playing football or not. It's just not possible for it not to be after how bad the break was.
Will it?

I had the same injury but mine might have been worse. Both bones with complete breaks right at the ankle. Breaks were displaced. One bone was broken in 2 places. I have metal plates and 14 screws.

I have not had any problems with it.

……but somehow his “injuries” were blamed for every bad throw and bad game last season

can’t have it both ways, Kendall
I didn't blame it.

I blamed a predictable offense, a hobbled RB, and wr's running uninspired routes.
