Will it?

I had the same injury but mine might have been worse. Both bones with complete breaks right at the ankle. Breaks were displaced. One bone was broken in 2 places. I have metal plates and 14 screws.

I have not had any problems with it.
Well, Dak clearly can't do anything without aggravating his it seems.

This should be the last contract by Dak playing in Dallas. The ankle injury is jsut exhausting and unfortunate at this point. If we go into year three with the nagging concerns I’m ready to move on.

‘My brother whose also a cowboys fans and a spurs fan, said this is becoming to remind him too much of the Kawhi Leonard fiasco

he wasnt a "cutter" before the injury. He is a pocket passer who can run a bit when an opening offers itself and even then he lumbers down like a lineman. has always been that type
See his best season 2016
He's been weighed and measured as a pocket passer

I am indifferent to Dak but a pop without falling in a heap or clutching an injured foot, ankle or whatever is nothing. Too many make something out of nothing, maybe it was typical joint pop, unless he is not starting or if he looks like straight up garbage who cares.

He very well could be fine tonight, but how long before something happens to that leg?

It just seems like a matter of time to me before he runs wrong or gets tackled and that leak leg of his gets injured.
Was a terrible injury. Hoping he can come back and play at a high level for a while. We got no other option for a bit..

I will say this

@MountaineerCowboy is right that they have never downplayed an injury and it ends up not being a bigger deal than what they acted like it was.

We saw this for years with Romo, with Tyron, with Zeke, with Sean Lee, with Fredbeard, ect ect ect.

I do not trust a damn thing that comes out of the Cowboys brass's mouths.

remember when the front office and Garrett said Romo was a gametime decision after the herniated disc in 2013

Seriously? The ankle injury is just exhausting? He had no issues with his ankle last year. The only time it was an issue is when it was broken and he was out for the year. Let’s not make mountains out of molehills.

Literally every snap in the NFL could be a player's last. It's part of the game.
