The tissue goes over the bone and makes a little pop.

Usually means some sort of damage. The extent and hinderance remains to be seen for Dak.
I assume you aren't a doc, but unless I am wrong scar tissue isn't a good thing to have to live with, and if he can hear a "pop" how can this be normal? lol.

Look at all of the usual suspects reveling in this.

Like flies to a dung pile or bug zapper...they can't help themselves.

I'm telling ya, man. Some pathetic fans we have here. The OP was probably waving his pom-poms when he found out about this. They have their fingers crossed that we lose tonight because of Dak.

I mean if you devote your entire online personality on a cowboys message board to constantly trashing the team you supposedly support, you're eventually going to be right.... especially when it comes to us, unfortunately

He’s turned over a new leaf and has Rayne Dakota for his avatar…..that’s love at its finest

That’s insane……we’ve already lost too many meaningful games with and without Dak as our Qb

pathetic that some people would actually think up something like this……they must have done it with Romo and are now projecting it on others. Sad, really.

No one has their fingers crossed hoping for a loss because of Dak. No one. Not even those of us who think he's an average QB. I will admit I used to laugh a little bit after losses during the Garrett era because I couldn't stand him as the HC, but even then I never once hoped for a loss.

The person who posted that insanity and the people who “liked” it told all of us about themselves

Its usually us who make negative comments about Dak who get accused of this.

Oh snap… I just felt a pop when I got up to get a beer. What y’all think it is. Am I good to go for the game.

Might need to have someone bring you beer during the game or bring over a few at a time, just to be cautious. Hate to see ya in the tent.

They're uneducated fans that root for a player above the team.

Pay them no mind.

It's about the Cowboys, not Dak.

Will this never end?

I remember growing up as a kid just waiting for my Dallad Ciwboys Weekly.

No internet, no Facebook or Twitter, no cable TV, no freakin' NFL or ESPN channels.

That Dallas Cowboys Weekly, nightly in addition to news reports that featured 4 minutes of sports and Preseason Preview magazine editions were almost all the information on my team at the time.

I was practically starving from a lack of information. Today, I think we get too much information. Every day involves drama because we get to know practically everything going on.

This stuff about a bad shoe and "something popped" never would have been known by fans back then.

I think some bloggers deliberately add the drama with click bait titles.

Is Dak playing? Yes? Then there isn't a story.

Lmao. I spewed beer when I read that. Nice. I am switching to vodka so I won’t have to walk as much..

Can someone please explain to me what a pop in scar tissue is?

Seriously, you really don't know how scar tissue in joints work? The scar tissue around injuries like this can literally last your entire lifetime. It can keep breaking off in small segments for decades. Anyone who has ever broken a bone or a torn ligament in a joint can tell you all about it. I have had five such injuries. A broken ankle (yeah ironic huh), a torn AC joint, a torn MCL, a broken thumb and a broken wrist. All except the wrist are more than a decade old. The ankle is 40 years old. The knee is about 35 years. The thumb and AC joint are about 30 years .. All still have scar tissue in them and I can still feel small bits of scar tissue breaking off in them from time to time. It's a fact of the human body. I've felt these little pops for decades. Every once in a while they cause actual pain.. but most of the time they just irritate me for a few minutes and I keep doing whatever it was I was doing. I should point out that in my case I only went to a professional physical therapist for the thumb and the wrist. The rest I rehabbed on my own. PT is supposed to help break up as much of the scar tissue as possible but it can't get it all. Time has to get the rest.
