Reminds me of the rich kid with no real friends bribing them for their superficial companionship.
If Dak is going to bribe me, then BRIBE me with something good. Don't give me something that you would buy for a 12 year old. Grown men who are 6 foot 5 and weigh 250 aren't going to be able to ride those stupid little things.

Yeah. Let’s say each bike cost a conservative $2K and he got all 53 teammates one—that’s a little over 100K. That’s the cost of a lavish bar upgrade in his new house and much less than 1% of the total income he’s already made over the years in Dallas.

Dak drives an F-350, but that is what he bought for the team that he quit on. He should have bought them all $120k Rangerovers to apologize for walking out on them.

What is a 300lb+ lineman (offensive or defensive) going to do with an electric bike? That's like buying a kids tricycle for me.
LOL....I seriously doubt he would make such an investment and overlook such a routine question. Think about it .........you are buying what 50-55 electric bikes for teammates, with a weighting range of 170-340+lbs and NOT ask for the max load capacity?

I have never felt comfortable with these gift giving players. It just seems like one player, who gets paid tons of money,, possibly at the expense of other players, flaunting his money.

Dak got a $60 million a year deal from Jerry. The Joneses are complaining about the CAP issues they have, and Dak is giving expensive gifts to his teammates with the money Jerry overpaid him.

If Dak really believes his teammates are owed a gift from him because they make him successful, then how about not demanding the largest contract in NFL history and allowing Jerry a chance to pay other players so the Cowboys can win a Super Bowl and get paychecks way bigger than the cost of scooters?

The greatest gift a player can give another player is helping them win. Robbing the owner is not giving.

He bought the work ones for them $4K-$5K each with max load capacity. Did he buy them for all teammates or just his line? Who knows, maybe he'd have gone with something more expensive, but he has a fiancé to discuss that stuff with now. Besides, his team isn't part of his "Brotherhood." Other QB's are. All kidding aside, it's still a generous gift he didn't have to do. I don't see why people are hating on him for it.

its not at the expense of the other players. its the way of the NFL, i did a break down of several other teams and we are no different than anybody else. Philly top 6 contracts are 193M average. we are at 167M average. detroit was at 170M average.....there is always that top 6-10 that get most of the money. the rest are working hard to perhaps get a nice fat contract. its not flaunting money. its what everybody else wants to get to.

the joneses complaining about cap issues, is just them making excuses for not wanting to spend cash and maximize profits. I have seen people on this board complain about the joneses, but when convenient use the excuse they are giving to knock the team..and specifically Dak and CD. again, no different than any other team.

and gift giving like this has been around NFL, Dak is not the first. won't be the last and this is not the first time. a lot of QBs, often just gift their OL men. that has also happened in Dallas.

he didn't rob the owner. the owner had a choice. he is a multi billionaire with several businesses and he could have easily said no....but he chose not to. and there is a salary cap everyone has to adhere to. and like I said above, we are no different than the other 31 teams.

I have no doubt that they make electric bikes to accommodate all sizes and weights, it just seems incompatible with NFL-size players. Which is the better optic: an electric bike for his teammates (regardless of position) or a truck/big SUV?
