Twitter: Dak gives advice to high school recruits

Even an inspirational encounter with high school recruits becomes a Dak debate thread.

Guess I overestimated some of the fans on this board, because I figured that this thread wouldn't then into a Dak debate thread or a Dak bashing thread. With what the topic was about. Now some are upset that Dak didn't let their negative view of him as a QB drive the type of advice he gave to the recruits. Also he was asked a question, so I don't know how they expected him to answer.

Dak is an awesome guy and easy to admire.
This is why I laugh when someone gets accused of being a Dak hater. Not a single person in this forum hates Dak Prescott.

So wishing he would die in a plane crash is not considered hating him?

……and some are upset that although some of us criticize his play , we are giving him credit for taking time to talk to the kids. Some are actually disappointed that it’s NOT a Dak bashing thread by all his critics.

This i believe is True. he's an amazing person outside of football, and can rally a team around him but as for hitting a WR in stride thats about 50/50. but on the bright side he's better than Tim Tebow.

those people doing that are in the vast minority. It’s almost overwhelming support so I wouldn’t paint with too broad a brush. There are as many that are upset that it hasn’t been more negative at there are people that have been negative. Probably 85% positive if I was to guess by scanning the comments.

I’m more concerned about how he plays in the Eagles game. I hope it lights out because we have to keep the offensive momentum going and cut back on the turnovers…..no matter who’s fault it may be.

……of course I’m more worried about our defense, like most of us are.

nothing surprises me here……..a lot of strawman arguments are conjured up so feigned indignation can be launched. Not sure if this is the case here though, but I’ve seen it here before

Yeah, I don't know why he would blame someone for saying that without proof. Crazy to even think of someone saying they would wish something like that about Dak or anyone else for that matter.
