Ok so you think one man can’t make a difference. Explain Tom Landry. The players came and went but for 20 straight years they made the playoffs. Than qb’s how about Tom Brady and now mahomes. This is the chiefs fifth str8 title game. Only three players on the chiefs roster has been there the entire five years. They keep winning
Mahomes the choke artist. Tom Landry, who wanted to rotate quarterbacks. And didn’t have a salary cap. Lol I love Landry but come on stop it. Tom Brady had Gronkowski and playoff Lennyu. Stop it you’re foolish.

Because Dak was thought of being everything that Romo WASN’T.

Dak was supposed to be durable and protect the football…..and that turned out to be false.

he’s a oft injured turnover machine
So Dak had to be everything Romo wasn't? How objectively fair is that? Romo was oft injured and a turnover machine on a more consistent basis, so far.
Is that why Romo is beloved and Dak like Frankenstein being chased by the villagers now? Or is it something else?
I liked and rooted for Tony Romo. Wished things worked out better, just like I'm hoping for Dak.

"You can't show me a donkey and expect me to call it a racehorse." We got two donkeys right now....no rings, no playoff success and major meltdowns at the wrong times.

Dak is not Romo and the teams are night and day! Dak has had consistency in areas Romo did not.

Truth bomb! Without a Mahomes or Burrow, Cowboys aren't winning anything. More years of pain and suffering on your horizon guys!
Man,if we had Joe cool, we'd be unstoppable...I'd endure another season like 89 if we could get a QB like that...its nice too dream, cause right now, cowboy fans are living a neverending nightmare.

I think it was fair……for the first 3 seasons. The people who dislike Romos tendencies loved that Dak didn’t have them……until he did

the first 3 seasons the 2 best things a lot of us like in Dak was that he protected the ball ( even though he led the league in fumbles in 2018) and that he didn’t miss any games….his best ability was availability.

after that he became often injured, led the league 2 different years in fumbles and then led the league in INts last year despite missing 5 games

these are the facts and the sad part is that we are stuck with his fat contract for years,

as far as Romo being ‘ beloved”……you must be ignoring alot of the images posted here of him flubbing the snap against the Seahawks, of him being injured, and a ton of posts criticizing him

I have posted some of those images regarding Tony Romo.....followed by the standards "he carried the team", "he didn't have a Top 10 defense", "He was under JG", "He is a HOFer", etc.etc. etc. Post something disparaging (but factual) about Tony Romo .....see the responses.

I'm simply suggesting we give Dak a chance to correct the interceptions. As for the fumbles.....doesn't that have some association with OL play too?
Remember Zeke fumble year (from effort and carelessness too).....it got corrected.

Perhaps it has happened.....but an OC has a responsibility to correct something about ints too. Just want to see if that materializes on the field or not. OC don't get to walk away from this. Question: Why wouldn't KMoore or Nussmeier go in the press box....get to see coverages better and adjust plays and routes that don't seem to be working for Dak right now? Got all off-season to get this right......or else.

As for Dak injuries (leg.....resulting from effort, inability to go down, and unfortunate tackle). (thumb.....pass protection broke down, it happens.) - Contract is concerning. (Hmmm)
Romo injuries (OL broke down on most of them). Final injury (out of the pocket and an unfortunate tackle finished him off) - Contract never concerning. (Hmmm)

he isnt elite, but football is won and lost in the trenches. We couldnt run the ball, 76 yards and Dak had almost 1/3 of that total scrambling. Only 1 receiver had what's considered good separation all year long and that was Lamb. San Francisco had 1 drive that was clearly better than anything we put together, San Fran was running and passing at will on that 1 drive, and it too was the difference in the game.

List the players or units, and tell me why we shouldve won that game.

Offenisve line : San Fran is better
Defensive line: San Fran is better
Defense overall: San Fran is better
Receivers: San Fran is better
Running back: San Fran is better

Dak is responsible for overcoming all of this??? i get he had a bad game, but lets not act like our offensive line played well or we had a running game.

There's a cap impact but not a team revenue impact. The Cowboys aren't losing money because Dak Prescott is their QB.
Jerry makes a ridiculous amount of money off PSL's alone. With the PSL, st-holders HAVE to buy tickets, or they lose them. If that happens, they just sell that PSL to someone else. Couple that with the amount of corporate-owned seats and suites (probably close to 30% of the stadium at any given game), and you can see why "quit buying tickets; send Jerry a message" will NEVER work. I used to get so mad at season ticket-holders when the stadium got taken over by opposing fans. Now that I am one, I completely understand. At this point, I'd rather sell all the home games and profit and extra $1,000-1,500 each season and watch it at home. At the very least, I'm selling enough to pay for my tickets that season, and going to a few games for free.

There are a lot worst qbs than dak for sure. It seems everyone in that qb class is getting clowned.

How about QB? going into that game Dallas was supposed to have a huge advantage at that position. San Fran might be better in the areas you listed but how much better?I'd say not that much and a better performance by the QB would have put them over the top. KC destroyed that vaunted defense.

Comes with the territory. People forget that it was same with Romo when we had similar disappointments

Wins and losses do not affect the bottom line of the Jones family business.
