I don’t think it’s funny at all. As a hi-performance boater this is a big fear. Marvin was reckless, but as I stated he just simply ran out of talent. You can’t continually back in and out of the throttle like that especially in a twin in V-Bottom. All he has to do was back outta of the throttle and get some negative trim there and he could’ve saved the boat from spinning. All in all he’s lucky his passengers were not killed.
Negative trim sucks. Where you on "Bay Watch?"

It sucks when you’re going fast and need lift, but in that situation to gain control of his boat he should’ve eased out of the throttle and trimmed down. No just been a performance boater for the better part of 20+ years. See avatar my float runs right now 132

He’ll be randomly tested if he hasn’t been already. I bet it’s a black and mild and not a blunt.

That’s the dudes name. I really don’t care about his 300 dollar glasses. And you wouldn’t have thrown, because you’d likely would have zero idea what’s going on. That’s lake of the Ozarks and the water can be unforgiving just like the Colorado River in Lake Havasu. You get caught in prop wash and crashing wakes from other boaters and it can get hairy very fast. As I pointed out the best thing he could’ve done was pulled back on the sticks and sink that bow.

I get what he tried to do, and it almost cost his passengers their lives. In a cat like mine if that happened I’d sink a sponson and roll my boat. I’ve come close a few times, but that’s why I avoid holiday weekend too many idiots (drinking beer) not paying attention. My friends dad and the owner of a boat manufacturer (one in my avatar) was killed in 2001 testing a boat. I also tell anyone who is getting into performance boating (boats that do 100+ MPH) should take Tres Martins school and get certified.

Yeah they all will start getting tested in a few weeks anyways. He may be called a little early in the random selection. I doubt it was weed. Most all players that smoke have likely stopped for the random testing that starts the 20th. But they did raise the legal levels allowed so they may quit after this weekend.

So let me get this straight, OBJ is in bed with a hooker smoking a blunt and chopping up coke on a pizza box and I haven't seen chit mentioned about it anywhere.................meanwhile, Dak is smoking a black and mild at a party with women in swimsuits and its all over the Internet.

I am missing something here?
Are you blind? The OBJ thing was all over ESPN under “headlines”, Yahoo, sports talk shows, etc and here. ESPN’s website doesn’t mention Dak even when you go to the Cowboys section. Stop trying to turn this into more conspiracy “us against the world” nonsense.

Probably tobacco in there. If it is weed, you can use it for medical purposes in Florida. It would be easy for him to get one due to his profession.

Other than that, he can use the Shaggy defense and say it wasn't me.

Copy! I watched that little video clip you posted enough to verify that there was ZERO wakes from other high-speed craft in "minus Marvin's sunglasses" immediate area,,,also, its unfortunate you deem yourself of superior judgment of the comprehension capabilities of others, yer' as clueless to that as someone akin to having a bag over their head,(I've spent heap big hi-speed river time,Friend) ,,,cuz' I'd have cracked you up along side back of the head with a beer bottle were it YOU at the helm,ALSO

You have zero idea what you’re talking about. I’d suggest you do a bit more research he hit a wake. If you “watched the clip” and noticed how his bow was porposing you’d know that 1. The water conditions were rough, and 2. He was over-trimmed. Ya and you would’ve been swimming back to the docks.

And if you could hold a bottle doing 85+ MPH is a porposing boat you’ve got skill.

It's not really "random". It's done on a team by team basis OR as a position group basis and they're usually notified in advance when the testing will occur. It is not done on an individual level unless a player has been excused from the group testing by a medical advisor. Then they can be tested individually as long as it is done by the first game of the season.

I'd caught that right off the bat ,with his ' porpoising' and starboard veer, hence my rewatching it enough to verify there's absolutely ZERO wakes from other craft in " Long gone Marvin's sunglasses " immediate A.O. ,,,you're starting to come across as an equal to,,, and / or,,,greater than that smug weaslenutted "MARVIN of NO SHADES FAME" FRIENDo_O

Must be nice to know when and where they are tested. For a player to fail knowing when they are tested is just dumb.
