Must be nice to know when and where they are tested. For a player to fail knowing when they are tested is just dumb.
It’s even more dumb when you consider they can fail, be in stage 1 for 90 days and if they remain clean they are kicked out and treated as if they never failed a test. We wouldn’t even hear about it. You have to be really dumb to go to stage 2.

I'd caught that right off the bat ,with his ' porpoising' and starboard veer, hence my rewatching it enough to verify there's absolutely ZERO wakes from other craft in " Long gone Marvin's sunglasses " immediate A.O. ,,,you're starting to come across as an equal to,,, and / or,,,greater than that smug weaslenutted "MARVIN of NO SHADES FAME" FRIENDo_O

I’ve spent more hours on this with other performance boaters. As a matter of fact there are news reports that stated he hit a wake.

You don’t chop the throttle in calm water buddy. He was chopping throttle because he was hitting wakes. You think I care what your opinion is of me or how I come across? This is my hobby and passion for the better part of 30 years, I might know just a tad about what I’m talking about, and this incident. Just like here how we discuss the Boys we discuss accidents just like this other places as well. I know the story

Copy! I watched that little video clip you posted enough to verify that there was ZERO wakes from other high-speed craft in "minus Marvin's sunglasses" immediate area,,,also, its unfortunate you deem yourself of superior judgment of the comprehension capabilities of others, yer' as clueless to that as someone akin to having a bag over their head,(I've spent heap big hi-speed river time,Friend) ,,,cuz' I'd have cracked you up along side back of the head with a beer bottle were it YOU at the helm,ALSO

BTW where did I say in my original post that there was a lot of wakes? I describe what water conditions can be like there.

Yeah and I believe there was a player (maybe Richard Sherman) that said for every player that you hear about failing there is 5 to 10 you don’t hear about that is in or entering stage 1.

The NFL isn't naive. They know a lot of these players smoke. The test should be pretty simple to pass. I've heard interviews from insiders even claiming that NFL players will throw "smoke parties" after their annual test because they've had to be clean for a period of time to pass their test and then know they can't be tested again until the following year.

They are making it easier for them to be able to smoke. Guessing that they don’t even have to stay clean for that long. A shame Gregory couldn’t make it.

The Drug test is really an IQ test

Stop smoking St Paddy's Day and once you test in April then you are good to go for the year

If they don't test in April at OTAs they will test at TCamp and you better not be smoking at Camp anyways

Show 1 ounce of discipline

Some have this view of the NFL being Big Brother, watching and trying to catch players screwing up, and I think it is the opposite, they hate disciplining players because of the negative publicity that generates. They do what is required but beyond that, I think they turn a blind eye until something like this hits the public and all of the speculating from the media begins.

Does the NFL think a league comprised of 20/30 something young men is going to be clean with all of the news about pot being beneficial for pain management? Just today the news was released that in the states where it is either medically allowed or recreationally, the opioid crisis has lessened which is a far worse situation than Reefer Madness has ever created.

We do not know what those inside the league office feel about the players using pot but since it has been a rule, they cannot go against the law of the land and preferential treatment from congress and remove it. So, they do the next best thing and let it leak out when the testing will take place. According to the national research, and you've got to feel the NFL has even more than that, 65% of the pop thinks pot usage should not be a crime. The NFL doesn't make any points popping the guys failing the test and if you measure the number of players actually caught and disciplined against their demographic in the mainstream, lots of guys beating the tests and the NFL is just fine with that.
