I didn't ask did the Cowboys. I asked did the Eagles. They for sure beat a team that was good enough to get in the SB last year and look good this year and did it with a backup.
I'd say Bengals are a legit threat.

Best you can say is the Eagles beat a Cooper Rush led team that threw 3 interceptions and were barely winning 17-20. Nobody remembers this though.

If anyone objectively watches both the Eagle and Cowboys play football and come to the conclusion that the Cowboys are the better team then you are out to lunch. I hate the Eagles more than any other team, but I'm no fool and have eyes that function. The Eagles are better at blocking, and have the better QB, WR corp, and secondary. Any other player group we might be tied at best. The only thing left is coaching and do Kellen and Big Mike really inspire confidence in anyone?

The Eagles have the QB having the best year.. that does not mean he is the better QB. Anybody can have that one amazing year and then come crashing back to Earth as the league figures you out. It's too soon to say if Hurts can continue to grow his game or he gets swallowed up as teams start forcing him to win from the pocket.

But in other position groups?

The Cowboys have two running backs in the top 20 in the league in rushing yards and top 10 in rushing TDs.. On what planet are they "tied at best" with Sanders and Gainwell?

The Cowboys DEs have 31 sacks.. the Eagles have 25.5 . The Cowboys DEs also have 36 TFLs to 27 for the Eagles. Both groups have forced 7 fumbles. I gotta give a decided edge to the Cowboys there. The Eagles do have the much better DT group to be sure. The offensive lines have played about the same level but the Cowboys could be getting some serious upgrades here in the next couple of weeks. I'll also give a nod to the Eagles LB group just because of Edwards.. Dude is everywhere.. but I like the Cowboys safety group better.. though clearly losing Brown and Lewis have hurt the Cowboys at corner. But what they lost in experience they gained better physical tools. It's scary to go into the playoffs with two such inexperienced guys starting.. but it would not be the first time a team rode a couple of youngsters in the secondary to the promised land.

The bottom line is the Cowboys had Eagles are comparable. Who wins will be determined by who plays the best on that day. If Eagle-killer Dak .. you know the 450 yard 3 TD guy.. shows up though it's church for the Eagles.. and they know it.

So I think Id have to put all my money on little Jalen throwing to a "more open" trio of wrs that have much higher scoring Averages than I do the better overall QB. Esp if he throwing to Schultz'kowski and All the other less open less scoring wrs who are averaging less SUCCESS Especially when they dropping those END ZONE COMPLETIONS

Anyone who feels the Eagles are better than the Cowboys are entitled to that. All I'm saying is they haven't done anything for me to fear them. Beating up on the Giants doesn't impress me. Losing to the Commanders doesn't scare me.

I believe a Dak led Cowboys team will be the best team the Eagles will face all year. I have nothing to show me how good they will do against a team as good as the Cowboys.

He has got to realize it’s a team game and it’s not all on him. It’s almost as he is forcing balls to rack up stats. Zeke is as good as I have seen him in years and pollard is a star. Lean on the run game and let them carry us. We don’t need all these force throws to win. We need him to stop turning the ball over and let the team rally around him. Oh and Kellen Moore needs to stop pulling the fullback in short yardage.

He has to beat the cover 2 with accurate throws.

Good post. Haven't heard the talk that Mahomes is struggling, but have heard that Josh Allen is doing so.

Protect the ball no matter who the QB is...I think that is preached by every coach and fan with or without any biases. At least I would hope so.
