Dak: I'm about to have my best year

I'm going to go out on a limb & say that regardless of his level of play, this organization will not reach the goal. Even if the rest of the team plays their best year. He's just not good enough, mentally or physically.

You and everyone else in Vegas would take that bet. That's why his Stans are BELLYACHING about implying that Dak said he will have a better year next year. They KNOW he's peaked and is HIGHLY DEPENDENT UPON HAVING EVERY SINGLE WEAPON AVAILABLE to give us average results.

I just liked what he actually said

“Each year I feel that I’m a better player and a better quarterback and I don’t see any reason why next year can’t fall right in line with that.”

One comment is just some cocky and overly bold bravado and the other is talking about working to improve every year

Maybe it’s just a bit of nuance.

He got personal. He tries to play a rope a dope victim. And because he's so clumsy at it, he then thinks others are doing it.

Dak was clearly implying that his best years are coming up. When I paraphrased what Dak said I didn't make it a guarantee, nor did I say NEXT YEAR would be his best year. But he clearly and unequivocally said his best football was yet to come. I'm about to have my best year.

But again...the bellyaching and wringing of hands is because yall don't have faith in your Football Faith-Healer aka Dak Prescott. It's all a placebo...and yall want plausible deniability that he is not saying he is going to play better. In fact, you want guarantee this until Jerry fixes the safety position on the other side of the football!

Cool. I don't have to quote him directly. It's done in journalism all the time. Now that I've explained what it is, you won't be able to unsee it. Headlines do this all the time. They extrapolate but keep to the spirit.

You can like what he said all you want, but I'm not in his cult so I am not required to quote Dak's empty babble chapter and verse.

He told me it was personal a long time ago. So I treat him as such. It triggers him when i say Dak is good or go get your money. It’s nonsense.

I would agree but that would be me saying Nick Foles or Eli or Trent Dilfer were mentally and physically tough.

Six pages in, and all I've got so far is that we don't know what a colon or quotation mark is truly for.

On the bright side, this is the first time I have seen a Dak tread derailed into something else, rather than a thread being hijacked and turned into a Dak thread, so that's kind of interesting and entertaining in itself.
