I wonder how many threads needed to be made on Patriots forums or now Bucs forums to convince people Tom Brady is a winner.

Put some respect on that man's name, he won' 2, 3, 4, 5, 6....7 Super Bowls.

Said no one ever.

Respect is earned not given.

Hey Rusty , not trying to be an a hole but why is that Dallas always has to be more consistent ? does Philadelphia have to be more consistent after losing to the Commando's , Does Buffalo have to be more consistent after losing to the Vikings? what about K.C when they stink it up vs the Colts? Again I'm not coming at your neck or anything like that. Your post just gave me a great place to jump in. We won today ! you would think we loss judging by some of the post. I know this is the Zone and not a real place but damn it gets old and tired after a while. Not one person here or anywhere else thinks we can play a game like today and go far. But Damn we did just put up 40 + in Minnesota's house. We did just obliterate the Colts. We did just win our 10 game of the season. But hey pay me no mind, I just have always hated Bad Luck Schleprocks, always complaining bout something

WE WON TODAY!!!!!!!

We are 10-3

I am not worried about other teams. I'm coming down hard on the team because I think that this team is capable of at least getting to an NFC Championship game this year. I felt that they did not play to their potential today, and I will critique it. I'm delighted that we won today. Truly, I'm delighted. Especially since I'm going to be in Houston for a few days over Christmas. I'm particularly concerned by the miscues. I'm one of the biggest Dak supporters in here, and I will defend the Cowboys for the most part. However, if I feel that the team didn't play to their potential, then I will say so, and that's what I'm saying. Hopefully, this answers your question.

Unless you're Dan Marino you can't be called great without winning a Super Bowl in your career, and he at least reached a Super Bowl.

Romo would be in the hall of very good, along with other QBs like Steve McNair, Phillip Rivers, Boomer Esiason, Jim Kelly (reached 4 Super Bowls) and Warren Moon that didn't win a Super Bowl. Despite winning 2 I would put Eli in this category because he overachieved in the playoffs but was not great overall stat wise.

Then you have great QBs that won 1 like Aaron Rodgers, Brett Favre, you can already put Mahomes in this category, Drew Brees, Steve Young

Then the next tier 2 Super Bowls: Peyton Manning, Ben Roethlisberger, John Elway

Then Joe Montana is the 2nd greatest all time 4 Super Bowls, and Brady is the GOAT.

And I'm not saying it's all about Super Bowls and I realize it's a team sport, but the QB is considered the most important position not just in NFL but in all of sports and you have to do something in the playoffs more than just win 1 game to be memorable. The playoffs is what people remember. Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers are probably both better regular season QBs than Brady is, but Brady is so much better than them in the playoffs it's ridiculous which is why he's the GOAT.

So there's still time for Dak, but he will have to prove it in the playoffs. Until then he's proven to be slightly about average I'll give him.

Ok like I said I wasn't coming at you, thanks for being a good sport about it.

I often wonder if generational gaps have differing views on what success actually looks like. Older guys like me (51) probably have a higher bar than someone that is say 25, or at least that's what it feels like. Things have changed in this country with participation trophies, safe spaces and all that. Not making assumptions about the ops age but I do wonder at times with how far apart general opinions are.

Nope, not that year I don't remember it.

Seems like I remember Romo playing in that GB game and Wade was fired right after and the record was 1-7.

The year he broke it twice was 2015 I believe when the backup QBs went 1-11

You remember wrongly.

Helped change the culture of Cowboys with Zeke and brought consistency. The fans should be grateful of their best player and put some respect on his name.

‘Crop top’ Zeke? It will never happen but crop top and DP would look so good in another uniform next year.

The "team" has had great success. Incredibly loaded offense with one of the best OLs around for years. With a slowly improving defense followed by a dismal easy NFCE bar this year.

Probably any quarterback in the top 20 could have winning seasons with this roster.

Now don't get me wrong Dak plays a huge roll in this and is easily an above average quarterback in today's league.

Like who?
Like the ones I mentioned in very post your responding to??? I thought of Romo and Jimmy G in like 2 minutes. I'm not doing the research on this one because I really dont care. My point was never to bash Dak, and had a whole lot more to do with debunking the narrative the OP is trying to force on us. Just a few others that I think might fall into this category would be Joe Flacco, Andy Dalton, Russell Wilson (for a few more weeks at least), maybe even a Tyrod Taylor??? Granted Taylor has played considerably fewer games. Outside of Jimmy G and Romo I have no idea if any of these guys did what the OP wants us to praise Dak for, but the point is while it's not easy this is something than many QBs either have done or have come very close to doing, even some mediocre ones.

A winner that has never won at any level.

I remember when Cowboys fans had pride and you be a winner you had to earn it by winning something.
I used to feel bad for fans that take this game too seriously and can't enjoy it for what it is....now, I just find it amusing....

Dak is not playing good football right now and has been turnover prone. Difference is, the teams we have faced have sucked and didn't take advantage of the mistakes (outside of GB)

9 INTs with 5 the past 3 games.

Can't be a winner if you don't win anything.

Beating teams in the regular season is like winning a round in golf, means little if you still get knocked out of the tournament early.
