The NFL is all about the QB.

Dak played terrific today, showing last week was a one-off.

If the team plays like this, we are Super Bowl contenders for sure.

I love winning the early Sunday game by 40. It makes the rest of the day very enjoyable.
defense gave up 3 points followed by 3 shut out quarters to finish. i mean we could have won playing with the wildcat with wilson, zeke, pollard LOL but its great to see him rebound from last week..

That only indicates the OL is stifling the blitz, exposing the secondary even more to openings. We also know that Zeke is one of the best blitz blockers in the league.
Blitzes expose every defense to holes, but not every QB takes advantage of them.

yeah, because they don’t have OLs like us. So like I said, when the blocking is there, the holes are easily exploitable. Dak being good at the blitz is pretty much ‘standard’ even when his numbers are mediocre. They’ve been yapping about him being good at it for years, but again, it comes back to OL.

He’s always been ‘effective’ at it, because our blocking has been good. Further, teams often blitz in desperation because they are getting zero pressure.

Heck, Dak was the best against the blitz in 2017, which goes down as a season of garbage QB play.

Prescott had a passer rating of 109.9 when facing blitzes, which led the league. For contrast, Prescott’s passer rating for the whole of the 2017 season was 86.6, and his passer rating in his spectacular rookie year was 104.9.

And again, that was 2017.

You mean O-lines with injuries and suspensions and a first year starter and a weak link at LG? If you’ve watched the games with anything like a fair eye you will see he hasn’t spent the season sitting in the pocket all day without pressure when teams blitz. He’s getting pressure and getting hit, but calling audibles and making the right reads and decisions. The reads and decisions and execution are how you beat the blitz.

Dak going for that touchdown on foot gave me half an heart attack. But now I think it just fits the day. It had to be that way to really wave that loss good bye. It had to be three interceptions by three different guys with Diggs putting on more on the board, Micah getting these sacks, and so on...

Everyone, not just Dak took everything that was lost last week back today. Wow.

There are 4 teams yet to play, but I'd say Dak is currently the leader in the clubhouse for week 10 performances by QBs

Big rebound from last week

I mean it’s pretty obvious what happened. Atlanta played press coverage, meaning our WRs isolated 1 on 1 and the Falcons defense couldn’t sniff the back-field with Dak having ALL DAY to throw and our RG basically moving piles at will, especially when Atlanta showed deep cover 2 and Dak just checked into a run play.

Couple it with a big lead early that leads up forced offense on Atlanta’s part, which led to 3 INTs.

Any average NFL QB can do that with this personnel and all day to throw against man coverage.

Last week, he had less than 10 seconds to throw, where a good defense was able to exploit the OL. Then on typical fashion he was garbage.
Awwwww. Tough day for you.

Dak’s an MVP candidate and the Cowboys are 7-2. You lose.

Dak never left.

The guy had one bad game last week and you'd think he was the worst QB we ever had. He was about three weeks removed from game action against Denver and needed to knock off the rust.

Ask the Falcons if Dak's still rusty. :starspin:

problem with a lot of men now a days. No accountability.

You have consistently been wrong about Dak. Why can’t people just admit their wrong and move on you’re wasting bandwidth bro

Don't leave out @khiladi @JoeKing .. They will be scarce this week for sure..
Why would I be scarce? I was wrong about Dak. Not the first time I've been wrong, won't be the last. But I don't hide when I'm wrong. I admit it and move on. Have you ever been wrong about something? I know you have and I bet you were scarce afterward which is why you thought that's what I'd do. You don't know me so you don't know how I operate. I speak my mind. When I'm right I let you know it. When I'm wrong I admit it. Making one's self scarce is for cowards. That's certainly not me. So serve up the crow, I deserve it.

I know you know me well enough to know I aint goin nowhere win or lose. Your cheerleading for Dak to be benched all week was annoying but at least you're here to own it. I told you all week that the not practicing footwork and mechanics and not practicing with his primary receivers was the source of his issues last week.. I think he returned to form this week. This is what I have come to expect from him.. It has been two years since he last played that poorly... And I don't think we're going get another one like last week for another two years..
