I can't understand posters like you that dog Romo in order to uplift the fraud. Romo was 10 times the QB Dak is or will ever be, and Romo did not accomplish anything. Think about that for awhile.
I'm gonna try one more time, just for you 5Stars. Most importantly because is not personal.
I will admit without hesitation.....I am a proponent for NFL players to get there money, without question. I know there's a fine line between wanted value & market value, but that's between player & organization. I have no problem with market value, at all, as it's up to an organization to make the numbers work (see Philly and others).
I also know the sport is violent and can be ended on one play, several plays, or an unfair incident......Bo Jackson, Sean Taylor, Sterling Sharpe, our very own Sean Lee, and many more.
Most recently, Overshown and Tank Dell, both may never get past a rookie contract. The game is unfair many times.
Now for something to think about for a while......"pretend" it isn't Dak, try pretending we're talking about "Fred" or "Brook" as our $60M QB. And maybe that will get the vitriol away from the actual and logical thinking regarding NFL contracts & market value for QBs. I'll be the same with "Fred", "Brook", or Tony regarding market value at the time of contract signing. And I'd look at Jerry sideways, when he says "All-in" or expecting the QB to play with less now.
