Dak is not my QB

I can't understand posters like you that dog Romo in order to uplift the fraud. Romo was 10 times the QB Dak is or will ever be, and Romo did not accomplish anything. Think about that for awhile.
5Stars you alrightt?......T.O. defended the QB (didn't have to)....didn't gain a membership in the BFF club the next year........talked about routes or tried to get in the exclusive meetings with JWitt.....and we'll just dismiss Patrick Crayton confirming because we know he is discredited in your eye........and then Jerry writes on the tablecloth for no reason but to cut T.O. C'mon Man! Somebody lying and I'm dogging Romo......now that's funny and do me a favor too....Think about that for a while. I ain't dogging Romo, he earned that situation... and I'm not comparing salaries or play, that's you.

As opposed to posters like YOU who dog Dak in order to uplift the fraud that Romo was? You just said Romo didn't accomplish anything. 10 times the better QB? Haha Dude, please try not to post when being emotional. Cmac hurt your feelings I understand. But come on. As a huge fan of both, Romo is DEFINITELY not 10 times better.
I obviously struck a nerve. Sorry.

Swagger......I've said before.....but now since you call ME out.....if it was Joe Shablosky.....I'd say the same about the contract situation. But you apparently stuck on Dak obsession, not me. I'm talking about how the contract played out, how contract values play out, how the GM had options before the contract, how people don't turn down money like you want them to do......that's all. Blame Jerry is all I'm saying, he got you hoodwinked about contracts and cause of our team's fate this year.,....it's that simple.
I didn't get hoodwinked about contracts at all. On the contrary, along with many others on here we warned that resigning Dak Prescott would be a horrific decision and looked back upon as one of the worst contracts in team sports history...and yep with a broken body and inability to move in and around the pocket, how did Prescott play this season before he called it a day?

We can be annoying in a "I told you so" type way but...sadly some people need to be reminded about the consequences of resigning Dak Prescott...like you.

Let’s see how much love he gets when the next guy comes along.

We warned?.....you working for the Cowboys? May want to look at the QB contract list.....many on there have been hurt before and market value been good to them. And we've been experienced with injured QBs and salaries before.
And if you're just stuck on Prescott's play?......didn't you see how this team was put together this year? You expected more? You didn't see problems early? You had a free agency, training camp, preseason, and last second signings to #4 and #88 to look at.

And since we're on "I told you so's"......if Cooper is worth all the laudatory comments on this board with "I told you so"......watch the FA market for him. He has certainly become worth more than his current pay, I think?. So let's watch that too. Jerry has to do something or the other 31 teams will have a change of tune finally, since this will be the 3rd opportunity for money. I hope Cooper gets paid.

OK, Romo was 9 times better.

No tears shed like T.O. The team battles hard for Cooper Rush. Dak has always been a company man and a phony just interested in getting paid. Bravo Dak. Phony.
So you gonna be miserable the next few years then? Because it would be costly for Dallas to do anything else but start Prescott. I'm fairly indifferent toward him (I think he, like a lot of other NFL QBs, is good enough to win with if the team is built well, but not good enough to overcome aspects of the team struggling), but they rewarded him handsomely to be the quarterback of this team, so there it is. Cutting him next year would be a $152 million dead cap hit. The team would save $5 million against the cap in 2026 right now, but most likely they will restructure his $47.7 million base salary into bonus next year (to lower his $89 million hit), which would make cutting him too costly. And they'll most likely do the same with his $40 million base salary in 2027.

I don't really understand why so many seem to have the need to start threads about how they can't stand him since we're stuck with him. Maybe it's therapeutic; I don't know. I can see hoping that he wouldn't get extended before he got his contract, but now that he's got it, it is what it is.

Until he's no longer the starter, he's my QB. Does that mean I want him? no. It just means he gets my cheering until such time as he's gone because his success is the Cowboys success. Does that mean I think he can take us to the SB? No, he's a choker. That doesn't mean I can't root for him to overcome his choking.

I'll also complain about him when he does choke. But regardless of what you think about him, when he's the starter, if you're a Cowboys fan, he IS your QB like it or not. :) Peace.

Trust me a lot of his teammates feel the same way.
Think about it you got 50+ guys in the locker room and you look at Dak sitting there making 3 million a game and being the primary reason you just lost another game while your paycheck for the game was 100K.
Leadership what the heck are these Dakstains talking about LOL......This team has Zero respect for the Dakster heck ask Mr.Diggs or take a look at CD on the sidelines during one of our debacle games and the story is verified.
Even Fraudo knows the gig is over now its just a matter of his next injury so he can retire and get the heck out of the kitchen as the heat will be burning him up!!
Why don’t more Cowboys players ask to be traded?

I'm gonna try one more time, just for you 5Stars. Most importantly because is not personal.

I will admit without hesitation.....I am a proponent for NFL players to get there money, without question. I know there's a fine line between wanted value & market value, but that's between player & organization. I have no problem with market value, at all, as it's up to an organization to make the numbers work (see Philly and others).

I also know the sport is violent and can be ended on one play, several plays, or an unfair incident......Bo Jackson, Sean Taylor, Sterling Sharpe, our very own Sean Lee, and many more.

Most recently, Overshown and Tank Dell, both may never get past a rookie contract. The game is unfair many times.

Now for something to think about for a while......"pretend" it isn't Dak, try pretending we're talking about "Fred" or "Brook" as our $60M QB. And maybe that will get the vitriol away from the actual and logical thinking regarding NFL contracts & market value for QBs. I'll be the same with "Fred", "Brook", or Tony regarding market value at the time of contract signing. And I'd look at Jerry sideways, when he says "All-in" or expecting the QB to play with less now.

I love that we're winning since I'm a Cowboys fan. But let's test your theory that the team is playing harder for Cooper. Dak owns Philthy. If Cooper gets blown out again by them, what are you going to say then?

Let's be real and fair. Dak is criticized for beating up on weaker teams. The only impressive win this year led by Cooper was the Bucs game. Beating up on two of the worst teams in the NFL and beating an overrated team, wasn't impressive at all. Do you know how many wins the Bucs have against winning teams this year?
nothing that Dak has done in regards to Philly provides any future predictive ability.

This board needs a Soap Opera. The Young & The Restless ain't cutting it. Netflix documentary coming soon.
