Dak is not the guy

I support him as well because he is our QB. What else can I do? But it's not up to him to get it done. He has to have support. QBs don't do it on their own. Rodgers won 1 SB and never seen one again. He never had the support. The 49ers got to three SBs with Kaepernick, Garoppolo, and Purdy. None of them go to SBs with the Cowboys. They got there because the 49ers put stacked teams around them, and had great coaching. Something our GM never does.
So you saying, when Quincy Carter was our QB, and after I gave him his initial fair chance and he showed he was not the guy, I should've just kept supporting him instead of being vocal about it?

Jerry has failed with multiple quarterbacks. It’s short sighted to blame Dak imo although I never said I agree with the contract, but who was the one that got worked over twice in negotiations with him??
Jerry is the main problem. That doesn't mean that Dak is the guy.

Nope.

He put 12 points on the board against SF.

12..with two picks.

When are you so-called Dallas fans going to wake the hell
I think you don't know what most games mean. Hint.. it is more than one.

The funny thing about Dak haters is they think Dak supporters are as obsessed with him as they are.

I am a Dak fan only because he is the Cowboys' QB. And he is the QB of this team until the day he isn't. I support him like I did Romo and all the others before him. I follow the blue star and the players that wear it.

But certain haters just can't stop posting about Dak. It's weird. They claim they hate the guy yet can't stop talking about him in their desperation to be "right" to a bunch of strangers on the internet.
This is way I think most rational fans view their QB. I will never get rooting for a QB or any player to fail. Why even call yourself a fan??

Listen, Harold, what other QBs? If you mean our QBs, Milton and Grier take up VERY LITTLE.
Dak gets 20% of the cap and, year after year, he falls on his face faster than your mom can wink at you.

And, yes, you are a fanboy of Dak.
Here is a towel, wipe your face, fanboy.
other starting QBs you numb nuts....stay with the game goof ball.

you Hate Dak Cult is so predictable. if everybody or anybody doesn't incessantly dump on dak and criticize him 24x7 and agree with every pile of BS you spew 110% then they are a dak fanboy..

you cult boys are so funny. here is my arse wipe for your face. it will make you look cleaner

Well at least the people you highlight have enough respect not to Jock Sniff. That versus some of the others who have Dak in their head 24/7.
they are daksessed. none of them posts anything, nothing but Dak related topics. some of them are 2nd, and 3rd commentors on any new dak topic.
its a Cult. and when Dak is gone, they will celebrate, some will go back to their teams forums like the eagles. and then they will disappear because there is no one to hate. and therein lies the problem with the Hate Cult.

are you part of the cult? if I don't agree 110% with every Dak hate post, then I am a fanboy as some in the cult started calling anyone who didn't 110% agree with them.

I said it two years ago. I said it 6 years ago, we need to draft a QB every 4 years or so in the first 3 roudns. I am on record that we shouldn't have signed Dak to his new contract. but because I didn't jump on the hate cult bandwagon, then stupidity of the cult just comes out.

There is a QB right now sitting in Cleveland that needs to be on the Cowboys, and if I'm Jerry Stupid, I call them and make a deal RN. I also start the guy from Cleveland and make Dak the backup. What this will do are three things. Dak will be frustrated and ask for a trade, number 1. Number 2, if it works out, we have our QB of the future. Number 3, if none of it works out, you probably are at the bottom of the league in perfect draft position to get a top QB. Everything the Cowboys do should be about QB from now until we actually win a Super Bowl.

I think the Cult are the ones who can never criticize the Quarterback. The ones that post a bunch of propaganda all the time on here. I've been too wishy washy on Dak in the past. But at this point of his career, he's no spring chicken and you are not going to build a team around him. You think he is going to be in 2023 shape this season?

And just not making the defense play so hard early on would help too. So what if they open the game with a score. So...go out and do the same then. "Dak doesn't play defense" is true. But he can still help them a lot. They (defense) need him to start strong and AT LEAST keep them on the sidelines more.
You hit on a pattern I've noticed. We struggle in those situations. Especially down by two scores. We struggle for every first down, let alone answer back with a score.

So you saying, when Quincy Carter was our QB, and after I gave him his initial fair chance and he showed he was not the guy, I should've just kept supporting him instead of being vocal about it?
Be vocal about it all you want. We're both probably going to have plenty of reason this upcoming season.

Yes both extremes are cults. You in the hater cult and few others in the dak can do no wrong cult.

And then there is the rest of us sane folks in the middle having to deal.with idiots on both sides.

San folks. You. Can we get a vote on that? San folks who will still be undecided by year 15 if Dak is the guy or not. In Texas, we say that makes you slow.

This line of argument seems to suggest that just because Jerry is a bad GM, those of us that complain should just be quiet and take it, because well there is nothing we can do about it, so why not just enjoy the mediocrity.
No.

I'm saying that Dak is what he is and he genuinely tries to be the best version of that.

We are blaming him for his large contract but it was Cowboys management who, through their lack of foresight, refused to develop any other alternative.

There was no young quarterback on a rookie contract to take over for Dak. There was no acceptable veteran free agent that was signed as a viable option.

Cowboys management sat on their butts and let it happen and they let it happen twice. They experienced the same contract issue with Dak four years before and learned absolutely nothing.

Meanwhile, Dak's agent did what agents do. To be fair, when Dak was on a rookie contract, jerry did what Jerry does.

While at one point Dak was a good quarterback a team like the ravens could've built a team around. You still think that Dak is a quarterback to build around, given his age, injuries, and current abilities? Dak can prove his doubters wrong this season. But like I said, all those thinking he is going to do so something this season that is noteworthy, sure are not going to fess up and admit they were wrong. How many seasons does it take to say well Dak might not be the guy. Season 15?

You hate people but you love Dak. Telling.

Career obscures what he is being paid for NOW. TODAY. This is apologetics masquerading as analysis.
I would not have given a 31 year old QB another big contract

Apologetically speaking !
