Dak is the main reason Bellicheck would find the job attractive

It's a part of coaching. Young, under developed QB's enter the league every year.
Not when you’re 72 with a point to prove. Brady went with Gronk to a carefully curated team that was ready!

This is actually exciting. It’ll make Jerry put all chips on the table as well.

This is the only franchise that is ok with mediocrity and try to force the notion that Dak is an elite QB ignoring the facts that he is not a dynamic QB.

Jimmy Garappollo took the 49ers to a Superbowl and had several playoff wins, their front office didn't blink an eye to give up premium picks in search of the right guy and still made the playoffs. The Jones are a hindrance to this franchise and they will stick with Dak the same way they stuck with Jason Garrett.
Thats why the 49ers are way ahead of the Cowboys. The 49ers make it to a superbowl with Jimmy G and they move on because they don't think he can get it done. Jerry keeps the same players and hypes them up with the same results.

Stop with the nonsense!

Do you think Bill wants to go through the troubles of developing a young QB, given his ordeals after Brady, especially with Matt Jones? Rather than build a great team around Dak?

In the last 25 or so years, more QBs of his caliber or less (Dilfer, Brad Johnson, Eli, Flacco, Wilson, Foles, Stafford) have won the superbowl than those who are elite (Warner, Brady, Roethlisberger, Peyton, Brees, Rodgers and Mahomes). And there’s an argument to be made about Warner and Brees.

Great teams built around the winners skews the results to make it seem like only great QBs win. Which is telling in itself.

Ok, let me entertain you. Please give me three better, feasible QB options for Bill, who is 72 and looking to win just as quickly as Brady did when he left New England.

Consider the human factor and ego and give us something to work with.
Funny, we all know BB loves QBs that choke with regularity against high end teams. BB isn’t coming to Dallas and have to put up with Jerry or get anchored with Dak.

I'm finding Parsons - his attitude, that is - less attractive all the time. Perhaps BB could get a handle on that.
That to me is the appeal of a Bill Belichick. I think there are stronger younger candidates out there He's the ultimate guy to change the culture in Dallas which would be good for a guy like Parsons. Nothing against DQ but he seems to be more of a friend to his players, Parsons included. Bill is more no nonsense but also worked well with big personalities like Randy Moss too.

I agree. He's not stupid for that. After 8 years he hasn't figured out how to throw the ball away instead of being tackled in bounds for a loss near the sidelines. That means he's stupid.
Romo often refused to throw the ball away and tried to always make something happen too. It's almost like these guys are instructed to not throw the ball away. I know Parcells told Romo that throwing the ball away was a good play, but after Parcells left Romo stopped doing it. Dak doesn't seem to like doing it either.

Belicheck and now he runs things is completely different for the cowboy way. If you listen to Isiah stanback in his cowboys podcast whenever he talks about his time with the patriots and the cowboys , it wasn’t long in either stint but he always up the commenter different ways that both franchise are ran, form strength and conditioning to practice. I wouldn’t mind it but i don’t think Jerry would concede so much change

Nah, Dak just carried the team for a playoff victory against the Buccaneers in last year's wildcard win.

Come on bro.
What was that team's regular season record? Oh yeah, 8-9. A losing record. They lucked into the playoffs with that record. Come on bro.

Romo been gone 8 years. Dak needs to stand on his own without the what-about-Romo-ism.

They were led by the GOAT, had good weapons at WR, good Oline, good RBs and a top 10 Defense.

uh, I'm not defending Dak. Dude's a choker. I just don't think he's stupid. Just stubborn and can't read the field fast enough. My point in bringing up Romo was that he had the same bad habit. A lot of QB's do.

They were not the same team that won the SB the previous year. They were a shadow of what they were and look at Brady's age. They were 8-9 dude. they had a losing record and how did Stats Prescott do in the game right after that? Exactly. That was the second year in a row. This is now the third that he's choked in the playoffs. No excuses for his level of pay. It's a shame, but it is what it is. The proof is right there. He wasn't the only choker. But he was a choker. He only really started moving the ball when the Packers took their foot off of the Cowboys throats and put in backups. By then it was far too late. DQ gets no excuses. The defense gets no excuses. Dak gets no excuses. I'm sorry, bro. We're just never going to agree about Dak. I'm done believing in him. He's shown me what he is.

Be interesting to see what offers Belichick gets?
It is possible that Big D is his best chance to get his 15 wins to pass Shula. That may mean he would want to keep Dak though?
IDK... just numb to this.

Disagree. Regardless, Dak isn't going anywhere. Are you going to continue being miserable? That's not healthy bro. I'm worried.

Great quarterbacks have instinctual gifts and I'm not sure that can be coached. Reading defenses and knowing reflexively what the best course of action is. I'm not sure Dak had those gifts and no coach can really teach that. Dak is still a very good QB but he doesn't have the edge. He's hesitant under pressure and his confidence dips. The rest of the team sees that lack of confidence expecting him to lead as their quarterback. Taking control of those moments rather than folding is where Dak has to improve.

He'll be the QB next season because of his insanely stupid contract and I'll hope for his success even knowing he'll choke it away. Doesn't mean I'll stop rooting because he's a Cowboy. I just think the best course for the team is to move on from the albatross that is Dak. When history proves me right and he's classified as a perennial loser forever, will you be miserable? I'm worried how you'll take that. :)

I can only hope that Jerry has a functional remaining brain cell that isn't pickled and he doesn't extend the travesty that is Dak's QB career. Dak needs to move on to something he's good at. Marketing. He'd kick tail at that.

There you go acting dumb once again trying to pick another fight with me. Why? If Dak is no longer here, I'll keep on supporting the team no matter what.
