Im NOT talkibg about the 20 bad passes probably more like 35 lol....im talking about the drops.. when ges ooen hits both hands, the ones he used to high point he drops, the ones that boubce of both hands and become ints...the ones he open by y 5 yards he drops that eould of been TDs...yes its true Dak isnt as accurate as Romo..But Julio, Odell, Brown, AJ all would make those catches..Dez of 2014 wouks of made those catches ......Dez has talent ..the problem is he NEVER tried to improve or get better
Dez's drops are in single digits.
Dak forced incompletions is over 40.

Does this mean we get Earl Thomas? I hope so. That's the only thing that would take away some of the sting of Releasing Dez.
The ONLY thing that stung were his stats last season. The lowest SINCE his rookie year!
Touche' old man Dez.

Dak is a franchise QB. He proved it. Last year he would have had to be Superman to do anymore! He was running for his life. The passing lanes weren't there because of that left side. Or he was dealing with guys hanging off him. OR..he was on his back! Cooper and Tyron nearly got him killed! Zeke had nowhere to run on the left side. That's not on Dak. What should he do when Chaz Green gets turnstiled? What about even when Tyron was on the field,he gets beat? this was a theme all year!! That must be fixed pronto.

Seldom does one learn to overcome adversity by having things go great. In 2016 Dak got to hand off all year to an NFL rushing champion, enjoyed Beasley open constantly, had a solid offensive line with Leary at left guard and T. Smith mostly healthy for the year. No NFL team had NFL game film on Dak, hadn't seen him run and Dak had a simplified offense to run.

But in 2017 he didn't have that, getting a hard rush half the time and his receivers not open is something he had to experience to be able to learn to handle it. So he did have lots of forced incompletions, what would you expect from a one year experienced, 4th round quarterback?

But "he got Dez released"? Why? What reason would he have?

smart informed people with eyes.

And those people are right 100% of the time? Lots of "smart informed people" said Romo would never be the starting quarterback - undrafted, not a good runner, etc. But he holds most of the Cowboys quarterback records.

At two years in, anybody who says they can tell already Dak is not a franchise quarterback is way too smug in their view...

Guess Dak was suppose to complete passes staring through his earhole... Poor dude was hit way too much.
And out fearless leader left him out to continue taking a beating. That Atlanta game de-railed our entire season IMO. Dak was playing great until the sacks started coming.
