how many chances does an NFL QB need to tell us he's not what we think/want? Dak had most of the pieces around him.

Yet the team centers around the QB. When the QB wets the bed, then that ruins it for everyone else. You can rationalize it away, sure, but the elephant in the room, IS Dak.

Certainly Dak will take most of the blame, but he isn't good enough to win with his arm against this defense, without anything from their run game in the 2nd half.

Dak played terrible and he looked concussed at times on the sidelines (not joking). He is good enough to get you to this point (2 Divisional round in 7 years) but he isn't good enough to carry the team when something goes wrong vs top playoff teams. Like Pollard's injury. Once Pollard went out, I had a feeling the offense was going to tank vs Niners defense.

Dak is not, never was, and never will be big time. He’s had a ton of talent around him but he processes everything way to slow to be a great nfl qb. He’s slightly better than average and that is it. Blame the Jones family for ruining this franchise for 30 years. Dak should never be the franchise qb here. It’s flat out ridiculous at this point.

Purdy isn't anything special.

He is riding the wave now around a team with really good weapons on offense and a defense that is really really good. Good lord I remember when he got benched, twice, while at Iowa ST.

He will fizzle out. There has never been a rookie QB win the Super Bowl. He won't be the first in my opinion.

Our D kept him in check.

Plenty would want Dak: Raiders, Broncos, Commanders, Panthers, Saints, Bucs, Green Bay, etc...I mean there are only like 3 average QBs in the NFC so everyone has a need at QB...

Purdy is proof that you can find a good, maybe even a great, QB in later rounds.
Just got to find someone smart, who won't make dumb mistakes.

This is QB era dream. Even what would be mediocre QBs in the 90s with more physical rules for DBs are putting up 300 yard games on faster fields regularly. Acting like it’s hard to find a QB in this era is nonsense.

I know the niners are a great defense. But he just didn’t play well enough and I can’t defend it.

Some missed opportunities and a couple bad turnovers. That’s the difference in the game at this stage of the playoffs.

He just didn’t make enough plays and the mistakes he did make were huge and costly.

I can no longer defend him.

Mea culpa and all that.

He will likely be the QB another year or two. But once they can fiscally. Move on and try someone else. Just no more dumpster diving. Draft a QB high. That’s all I ask. Go for the green to put it in golf terms.

Gonna be a long offseason.

Jerry needs to realize #4 isn't the guy. He cost us today. With the turnovers. Locking on Lamb....the poor decisions. Holding on to the ball too long...I'm convinced if Cooper Rush was playing today...we win.

Give Kellen Moore a QB that doesn't turn the ball over.....and knows where to go with the football....we win easily today.

People don't like to talk about the fact he only beat an 8-9 team last week...he should win those games at a 95%+ rate....He's just not elite he's an average QB who occasionally has a very good game
