This is true. The surrounding cast wont matter. The 2 int's, the dropped pick six with 3:00 left, and a decent tackle by Armistead on him in the end zone would have ended the whole sorry mess today. Dak was awful, no more, no less. Accountability is fine, but with the owner in full denial and senile...what now?

I like and supported Romo but people need to stop it with BS Romo myths. He had a good defense in 2009.

2009 Defense was ranked 2nd in points and 9th in yards.
2022 Defense is ranked 5th in points and 12th in yards.

What did you want Romo to do in 2098. He threw two TD’s in the Giants playoff game that were dropped by Fasano and Clayton. .

You also better check the pass defense stats because we were historically bad for a long time.

Cute post, but none of it tells us how many years Dak had Jason Garrett as a play caller? I can tell you one thing for sure is I told you Dak was a scrub and you were holding on to that sinking boat pretty tightly.

Because I or you can't do anything about it. So what do you win? Certainly not a Super bowl in 27 years.

Something that drove me nuts in this game and has in other games is..... Dak is not up in his linemen faces or WR faces to catch the Dang ball. Troy would be furious and in peoples faces trying to rally the troops but NO Dak is sitting on the sidelines with a deer in head lights look. He plays a good game gets over confident and thinks he's just going to do what ever he wants and then over shoots, throws into coverage, short hops guys, and throw 2 INTs. he's the problem. We would not be here w/out him but at the same time he's also got to fix his head and be more consistent. IMO we need to draft a guys in the 2nd - 4th round someone with ice in his veins and let Dak play out this last year and if he's not doing better after 2024 cut him.

That's the very least of the problems w/ Dak.

The problem with Romo’s was the play caller and HC who was completely incompetent and couldn’t field a RG to save his life, that put way too much pressure on the arm of Romo and the defense in terms of TOP. Jason Garrett was running 2 WRs sets when the whole league has already moved on to 3.

We need reasonable reasons to give me hope after 27 years cause I have nothing. You can say get rid of Dak, but that's up to Jerry. You can say draft a QB, but that's also up the Jerry. I suggest trading for Rodgers but again, that's up the Jerry. So since Jerry is holding all of the strings, what gives me hope?

Honestly, supported him early on but no excuses, I do not see the team getting anywhere with him at QB in the post season.

They will ride it out with him like they did with Romo but I do not see a championship under his leadership any time soon or even at all.

Reality has always been clear for Dak. And for those who laid into the 'dak haters' last week on the back of ONE performance against a weak TB secondary.. yeah reality.

Let's be honest.. 49ers with Garoppolo or Lance or Purdy.. win this game. They have 3 options that are better than Dak.. how the actual F does that happen?!!

Dak showed his usual self today.. under pressure he folds like a cheap suit. Passes high and wide, under throws his receivers, can't process the field. Struggles when the run game isn't dominate.

He is a fraud and his cap hit only makes things harder next season. What a dumpster fire. I'd be playing any and all chips to try to find a replacement.

And.. he absolutely, 100% and without a doubt cost us this game. 2 picks when it mattered.. couldn't convert the short field into a TD on the muffed punt.. and just completely lost all resemblance of a capable QB once Pollard wasn't there to bail him out time and time again.

I would truly, honestly believe we win this game with Rush as QB..and Rush is terrible. What annoys me the most is that our defence.. for the first time in forever.. is actually a capable defence. To only give up 19 points today.. with the 2 picks, the weapons SF has.. that was actually a great effort. We should have won this game. I'm beyond pissed off.. fool me once and so forth.
