For all those who were saying after the TB game that Dak was great and that the Washington game meant nothing, please try and defend the garbage performance by Dak.........the fact is you can no longer defend the obvious: Dak sucks and will never elevate this team to an NFC Championship game or beyond.

RonnieT24 and friends are waiting for Dak's PR office to give them the new excuses storyline.
Expect at least a 10-paragraph post from RonnieT with every excuse in the book and then some!
I expect something along the lines of blaming the defense - if only Diggs had intercepted the ball yada yada....and maybe blame Turpin for not running outside and scoring. I mean we can't after all expect Dak to carry the team even though he is paid to do just that.

Neither was the previous qb but that said what’s your plan?
***** and whine all off season. We have probably 4 glaring needs higher than the qb you hate

We must get another cb, lb and wr you could probably add Oline and DT to that list as well
Might need another rb now as well

I’d be ok moving on but not addressing the other things will just keep us where we’re at

I’m not a Super Bowl or bust fan though I was ok with the season cause I stoped that type of investment years ago

If Dak cared about this team and had integrity, he would take a pay cut to hire better team mates that can overcome his poor abilities. OL, WR’s, RB’s etc… For him to win we need superhuman around him.

There’s no hope folks, Jerry’s quote below

“As far as I’m concerned, the game just wasn’t long enough, when you look at it,” Jones said, referring to the divisional round with context that perhaps seemed also apropos for his advancing age. “I’m disappointed. But [next year], I would like to be right back here with the same hand, the same opportunity, with Dak as the quarterback, and go get it.

“They were the better team, but we got some good things happening. Consequently, tonight they won it. But in my mind, I’d rather come in here with a Dak.”

How do you address the other needs when you have a crap QB about to make $49M in 2023....which sadly only means Dallas has to extend him to make cap room....so you are stuck with the same crap at QB yet surround him with air freshener.

And that ladies and gentlemen is why the Cowboys haven't reached a Superbowl in decades. How anyone with a basic understanding of the sport could still believe that the Cowboys can reach the big dance with Prescott as QB is either delusional or biased to justify their own narrative. Either way it's a loser mentality

Jerry is a classic narcissist. He's unable to admit to making a mistake. Signing Dak to the 40 million contract with the no trade clause was a colossal mistake. He proved that last night. He could say "We'll be evaluating things, including the QB position and looking for ways to improve the team in the off-season, but Jerry loves doubling down on his mistakes rather than admit them.. See Garrett.

Was that his quote last year when Dak screwed us.. or this year? It is hard to tell.

How cool would it be to have an owner who wanted a winning QB.. that would be awesome.

Well you’re not wrong he will get extended to reduce cap hit and the cowboys will have to surround him with more talent

The cowboys talent is largely over rated they literally have 2 playmakers and one of them didn’t play in the second half

Micah needs needs help as well on the defense
The cowboys given all their defects over achieved this year

I’m not upset they are right where I expected them to be I no longer let this team get me upset

I think Dak just got the Yips today.

He's had a lot of good games.

Plus, we're stuck with him

(Please, to all the dummies out there, don't start posting foolish things about trading him. Dallas would have to give some team a bunch of draft pucks to take him)
And Prescott would have to waive his no-trade clause.

I wonder if he’s tradeable? Two years left on his deal, someone else absorbs the guaranteed money next year. He would only be a 30 million qb to mother team.

I know the niners are a great defense. But he just didn’t play well enough and I can’t defend it.

Some missed opportunities and a couple bad turnovers. That’s the difference in the game at this stage of the playoffs.

He just didn’t make enough plays and the mistakes he did make were huge and costly.

I can no longer defend him.

Mea culpa and all that.

He will likely be the QB another year or two. But once they can fiscally. Move on and try someone else. Just no more dumpster diving. Draft a QB high. That’s all I ask. Go for the green to put it in golf terms.

Gonna be a long offseason.
their defense is physical. and mentally tough. they manhandled our offense. their offense was also physical and they played smart where we didn't. opportunities were there for plays and we didn't make them. we let it slep right through our fingers.

with that said, to get over the hump, we need more Tyler Smith type of picks. big physical, mean players who come to play.
