Dak seems to be similar to Romo in being a QB who puts up good stats and wins against average teams and also puts up good stats against good teams but it seems to be late game catchup stats which ultimately come up short after falling behind early.

Dak can’t carry the jock strap of Romo..

Romo was actually carrying garbage at almost every position outside a skill position here and there are various times, as well as Jason Garrett as a PLAY CALLER while Dak has been dragging a talented team down..

While there is truth to this, it’s not quite what you are making it out to be. If the defense gets a stop and Dallas gets the ball back- those aren’t garbage points anymore. Dallas can win the game. Easily. It’s not his fault the D didn’t get the ball back. I’m not absolving Dak of any blame, there is plenty to go around. But the last td wasn’t garbage time.

Quoted for truth - It is a joke to even put them in the same sentence!

Romo created the system and you build around him. With Dak he is a system QB where you have to run things to fit him to *try* and get his potential. He was missing wide open players. Throwing balls that are not catchable, he is afraid to run with the ball even though he has decent speed for a large guy. He is starting to finally run again, but he was playing scared, and injuries do play a role mentally. Romo and Dak are not in the same class though.

I'm not a Romo guy at all and was ready to move on from him when we did.

But Romo is a better QB than Dak.

Of course you weren’t a romo guy - it would be weird if you were intelligent before and not now

If Romo would just would have had Dak’s leadership, he would have been unstoppable.

Dak fumbled away a possession that was critical, but the defense didn't get the ball back, OK.

Hypocrites abound....you say Dak can't win a big one, Romo never won a big one.....Dak sucks and Romo is Royalty.....LOL, typical fans....nothing wrong with that....whatever makes you feel good.....we all enjoy it differently.

Romo never won anything and he should be criticized for it.

Still doesn’t take away that he’s a way better QB than Dak.

Trent Dilfer, Flacco, Eli, and several others won titles that Romo is a lot better than.

When we play Peyton Manning and he is scoring every drive Tony Romo can play that same game anytime he steps on the field. Doesn’t mean we will win.

What's even worse about this is the defense actually DID get the ball back, but the play was called incorrectly. Dak was clutch in comebacks in 2016 and he still has one of the best 4th quarter ratings around, but he IS starting to feel a touch like Romo. Something isn't right in Dak's head. He is hesitating too much. It was clear that AZ had a really good defensive game plan. It looked like they disguised coverages in ways other teams hadn't done to us and it definitely confused Dak.
