Dak right now has probably a top 5 Oline, A top 5 RB, top 5 pass catchers, and finally has a REAL OC. He has about everything a QB could hope for save a dominant defense.

I would take Dak. Ryan is on the downside and Dak is coming of age.

However Ryan has had several seasons in his career like Dak is having now. Last year he threw for nearly 5000 yards and 35 tD's. He was 5 minutes away from a SB trophy several years ago.

They are two completely different QB's

Dak has improved, but just as important is the team around him has improved and the coaching has dramatically improved.

You stick Garrett back calling the offense and take away Tyron Smith and Frederick and Dak isnt having the kind of games he is having now.

QB's need quality players around them to play to their potential.

What I like most about Dak is that when he has had quality players around him, he produces at a very high level. Even as a rookie.

Sure Dak looks better, and is better, and I’m excited as hell about it, but expecting it to be like this every game, or believing that time won’t tell a more clear tale is foolishness. There is a reason a QB doesn’t get credit for having the best QB rating, or a RB doesn’t get credit for winning the rushing championship 2 weeks into a season. Ryan has been a very good QB for several years, and to declare Dak the better player after 2 games is premature. Time may bear that out, but it’s nonsense to ignore the really undeniable fact that time is needed for it to be verifiable.

That is my point. Take away the weapons around a QB, and they dont play so well. Ryan has a better arm than Dak. Everything else I give to Dak. Although if Dak keeps throwing the ball like he has the past two weeks he wont Ryan wont even have that on him.
