Dak has been absolutely on fire the past 5 weeks. He deserves a ton of praise for that. It has all been against some of the worst pass defenses in the league. Both things can be true. Panthers were the best one they faced and they were missing their top 2 CBs.

If he does this the rest of the year you have to consider him for MVP.
Philly has pisspoor pass D yet Dallas still lost…

Dak has a chance. But he needs to ball out in these next few games against winning teams. If he lights up the Seahawks, bills, eagles (again) and dolphins, then he has a shot at it.
If he lights it up against those teams, he’ll win MVP.

MVP = The best QB award

Why even have an MVP award. It's a joke.

They are not going to give Dak an MVP if he goes 0-2 against Philly, so thats what is in his way.

Ive said this for years

They either need to revamp it or have offensive MVP and defensive MVP

And also offensive linemen should be considered for mvp

Hurts - I can't see it. His team and Mahomes/Kelce/Scantling/Watson errors willed him over games he should've lost. Seems like he makes 1 or 2 spectacular plays each game in key games like Cowboys and Eagles but they've won - altho squeakers.

Tua - He's destroying it statistically and I think so far he's pretty close to Dak. But the difference being the Eagles game. Dak got praise, Tua didn't.

Hill - I can see him winning if Miami was a 14-3 juggernaut, but I don't think he'll win unless Miami wins the remaining 7 games.

Mahomes - I don't see it either. Chiefs' offensive struggles have been talked about too much this year, unless there's a tremendous turnaround. Which could happen knowing the Chiefs.

Jackson - He's probably Dak's closest competitor and I think most people are thinking "Lamar has beaten lots of good teams." It'll depend on how both Dak and Lamar plays in the final 7 games.
Really have to wait until the end of the season.

Have NFL MVP

And have a separate non QB MVP (Player MVP on offense & defense)

Or do MVP each conference. There is an MVP in baseball for each league.

Gotta checkout what CJ Stroud has done to Texans.
He would have to have by far the best numbers in the….by a wide margin….before he would be considered as a rookie playing for Houston.r

But yes, his numbers have been far better than Mahomes‘ or Jackson’s so far

If we can beat the EAGLES and somehow claim top seed, it's Daks for the taking.

I don't think it's gonna happen, but fun to daydream
