How much is the bridge? Because the truth is, none of us knows what’s gonna happen going forward.McCarthy took the GB HC job in 2006 and promptly went 8-8.
Joe Philbin was hired as the OC in 2007 and lasted until 2011 (he went on to become the Miami HC). From 2007-2011 GB went 55-25 during the regular season, 5-3 in the playoffs, and won a Super Bowl in 2010 in Philbin's 5 seasons while having one of the league's best offenses during that time. Philbin was also credited with getting Rodgers promoted to the starting QB position in 2007.
After Philbin left, and in the next 7 seasons with McCarthy as HC, the GB offense rankings dropped and McCarthy went 62-44-2 during the regular season and 5-5 in the playoffs with zero Super Bowl appearances.
McCarthy was fired in 2018 and did not get hired by Dallas until 2020, a process in which he later lied to get the job.
So if anyone thinks "McCarthy's" offense will somehow unlock 'Dak's potential' in his 8th season as a starting QB I have a bridge to sell those people.
I was oing to post exactly thatWhat if he did spend all summer with him and all he accomplished was he also ballooned up to 300 lbs.
Can't wait to hear more gushing from MM about how Dak is the first to show up, last to leave, blah blah blah.
You’re a liar. Some of y’all are truly dumb. Almost as brain dumb as Dak. It’s been well noted and insinuated by active and former players that they feel Dak doesn’t have a fully functional brain.
Dak needs to tell MM to dump ZekeLearning this offense, forget about the workouts with the players in your backyard, that can wait! Get in this playbook intimately, sleep with it, take it with you to the bathroom if you must! Let's go #4, please give your thoughts!
At this point I wish MM would tell us he's the last to show up and first to leave. Then there would be hope for improvement.Right lol lol he's doing all the right things lol except in the game
Dak's problem is Dak and his inability to play the QB position beyond the level of a college QB.Dak needs to tell MM to dump Zeke
He also won a SB with his offense. Many choose to keep seeing the cup half empty....I prefer to see it half full. So, if MM is going to run "his" offense folks around here may be really disappointed, MM was run out of GB because his offense was stale and antiquated and his Elite QB there was changing play calls a lot. I hope folks don't think MM is just going to come up with a new offense so what Dak will get is the old and stale.
They should have sleepovers as it did the trick with Jerry and MM got a job.Learning this offense, forget about the workouts with the players in your backyard, that can wait! Get in this playbook intimately, sleep with it, take it with you to the bathroom if you must! Let's go #4, please give your thoughts!
Engaging ignore feature. This drivel has no place here and is more a reflection of the poster's intellect than anything. Some of y’all are truly dumb. Almost as brain dumb as Dak. To add to what you said. McCarthy was painted as this QB guru, yet his qb here in Dallas needed him in a major way this year and he never came to help. I just think he's painted this picture but it's not with his brush.McCarthy took the GB HC job in 2006 and promptly went 8-8.

I was hearing Vosch Lombardi talk about how Mac said once to the press he has never been a part of an offense that uses so much option routes, that is normal to have one or two option routes per play, but the other guys must be open by the play design. He does not like it because it puts the decision where the ball is going on the WRs instead of the QB.
Normally the receiver who runs the option is a vet who has rappor with the QB, they speculate it was Coop last year. They also said that KM play design has at times 4 or 5 option routes and that Dak has to wait a second for the receiver to get open. I also notice this, stinks of Garret.
They were saying Mac is going to bring more slants, 9s, flats, etc ala WC offense for Dak. I think this will be good.
