Dak was bad before he got his new contract, he is bad now. there is no decline. you cant argue as a FO: hey dak you are bad take a paycut.

Dak was injury prone before he signed the contract and missed a lot of games. So you have no leverage also.

The NFLPA would certainly approach Prescott and express their “concern” about a high profile, highly paid player electing to sign a new contract for less before his current one is over.
