Dak: NFL's best

Not a fan of greatest show on turf Trouty? Marshall Faulk, Kurt Warner, Dick Vermeil pretty good coaching/offensive combo IMO.
Greatest Show On Earth was shut down by a great defense in the Pats.

#1 defense and #1 offense have met 6 times in the Super Bowl with the defense winning 5 of those . Our 92 Cowboys was one of them.

Blues, that '99 Rams team was an outlier (as I stated in one of my posts) but you can't deny how beautiful it was to watch them that season? Breathtaking, no?

Easy to get shut down when the other team is recording all your practices and bugging your locker room like the Cheatriots do all the time.

Damn, I really really wish you didn't igmore me

I would crush you on a BB debate, son.

You didn't hear that from me.

Just saying that whatever rules apply to other QBs should apply to both he and Dak.
I'm just looking for the same rules to apply for Dak and Romo at this point.

The Romo homers are circling like Vultures waiting for Dak to slip up.

This is just another angle. I'm just trying to keep it real . They know if Romo went in otherwise that if he struggled he'd get booed so they need to wait for Dak to slip up. They thought for sure it would have been the last couple games . The pressure is mounting now each game as they wait for their hero to return.

I love Romo, personally, and I will find it disgusting if anyone jumps on Dak if he has a bad game/hits a wall. I will be there with the rest of the calvary (Ironhorse!) ripping into any poster taking shots at our rook.

I get the argument that Romo in his prime could do more than Dak can right now. I just don't think he's in his prime anymore. I am not a Romo hater at all I've been a fan since he got to start over Bledsoe over a decade ago. Part of it is that I generally fear for his safety, there is life after football and I don't see how he will be as agile as he was before all the injuries plus his age. The other part is I think Dak's leadership should win him the job. Dez really has treated the last few years like it's his team but Dak would have none of it. If you reinsert Romo who as great as he is I don't think his biggest supporters would accuse him of being the leader Ray Lewis was, he's just not. I like this team with Dak, however if things go south I'd be all for Romo being reinserted, although again I fear for his safety because he keeps getting hurt behind the best o-line in the NFL.

Co-signed for the most part, Ring.

One caveat -- Romo is a great leader, so I disagree there. No one is a Ray Lewis, so that's not a fair comparison. Romo is a legit leader, ever see an NFL Films with him mic'd up? Dude is very vocal and all over the sidelines.

Edit -- we also don't know if Romo is in his prime any more or not, and we may never know. If Dak keeps playing the way he is (and I think he will), he shouldn't have to give up the reigns.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again -- it kills me to say that. :(

I believe Dak has shown he's a better leader than Romo, and I like his poise more than Romo I don't think there is a such thing as a moment that's too big for the guy. With Romo you can blame it on the teams around him but he's had a decade and for whatever reason has 2 playoff wins (should have been 3 to be fair) I feel like he's had his chance and he should be in the Peyton Manning role of last year. If the team suddenly struggles insert Romo, if not don't change what's working.

They love Dak too but feel Romo is getting cheated out of the team built for him and perhaps his best shot to win a championship. And they truly believe if Romo is close to what he was in 2014 he provides a better shot than Dak now which I'm not sure I'd disagree. I just enjoy watching them squirm:)

Erod is right, QB's drive the team. Unless you have an elite defense. The Eagles don't have an elite defense. They have a very good one (front 7, suspect corners), but not super bowl level elite. Not by a long shot. Their 13 ppg be damned.
Or in the case of last year Matt Cassel could not get the engine started :omg:

Fair enough, Ring. We have Dak, and we both can agree that's a good thing :)
